It is getting to the point where AC is facing a total loss of credibility - mucking about in Norway? he should be in a tent in Azer or wherever that rig for C37 is coming from and tearing someone a new a hole until it's working for us.

It does seem like there is some big screw up story in the background - I think he's in dangerous waters not updating the market either way at such a critical time. By the sound of it those tweets betray a real lack awareness of his responsibilities. We need accurate information about the current state of affairs. Information that AC definitely has and is withholding from the Stock Exchange.

This stock was at 14p not all that long ago just based on the workovers.
Ok there were delays and problems but we now also have the C-37 opportunity so potentially a long long way for this to go up. Of course there is still the chance for it to be a duster/ major problems etc but also a massive potential upside, fingers crossed.
3000 bbd gives operating profit c $50m on that one well - just one of many opps this company has. Not saying it deffo will happen but it might and then wouldn’t be surprised at a £200~£300m valuation , what are we now ? £8m or something

its been an incredibly slow train coming but only thing you can say about this is that if it does go from 300 to say 600 barrels a day (let alone 1000) that transforms the bottom line.
i'm sure everyone here is aware that this is a substantially loss making company that really needs that double up and soon to stay in business
if it does then its (80-20) x 300 x 365 = $6.750m near enough to the bottom line
at 1000 bpd its $15.33m to the bottom line

There may well be some asset value here.
But XTR's problem is that it appears it will run out of money within a few months
Cashflow - or lack of is the death of many a "good" business

Options:
1. placing - again and who would risk another £mill or two anyway

2. firesale of assets - maybe the share price has been driven down deliberately so we would all be pathetically happy with £10m for all the assets and wind the company up. When the assets maybe worth £30m?

And probably a cheap sale to one of CB's mates or a company he has a proper stake in.

There is zero progress on anything- pure waffle - no indication of production figures for September quarter being good.

And clearly zero interest in anyone buying hard rock assets or partnering- really hate to say it as I’m heavily invested, but it’s a disaster

Unfortunately that £1m will be gone in less than a year . They burnt £600k then 6 months as overhead I guess - I thought the overheads were down to 500k, if so there must be other operational losses and talking about alluvials being cash positive is misleading
The bottom line, as they say, is that we are probably already down to £700k cash as it’s 3 more months gone.
But we do have sone second hand specialist equipment that no one wants
If we try and sell any hard rock assets now we will be seen for what we are, a desperate seller

One thing you couldn't accuse XTR of being was being boring, but it is now and in a bad way :(

Nothing to see or hear, an RNS desert with CBs bald pate shimmering on the horizon like a dodgy Omar Shariff, taking 3 years to hand deliver the next operational update... ho hum

I have found AJs moaning a little tedious and very repetitive, but actually he can't be blamed for the lack of information coming through here: on issues that directly affect the valuation of the this company, e.g. when critical plant elements will be in place (we are supposed to deduce and guess this from previous vague RNS snippets) and regarding human expertise on the ground.
If things are not going quite to plan well that happens, just let us know - continued poor and non-existent communication erodes trust even to the point that when the facts are looking better people will disregard this stock.
No news is bad news in this case.
rant over, I still hold a pretty big chunk of these and Not selling - it could easily all come good, but it has been very poorly handled.

I've got a few of these by now and have added on these recent lows. Have also made some v good money with CB in the past. My possibly simplistic logic as follows: Alluvials: wash their face, cover the company's overheads - maybe they can generate �1m profit p/a. quite possible - no investment required Hardrock: maybe 1.3m ounces at $500 after costs = $650m x 20% royalty in a farmout scenario (no capital required) = up to $130m to XTR even discounting that by 50% gives potential value of $32,500,000 to XTR on the hardrock alluvials underpin current v low share price, you get a hardrock mine for free
