finally its happening, very solid buying looks to be and bit over 3.00 on delayed feed , maybe more live

not showing the big rise here for some reason, showing 10% up in other places
but LSE is a bit steam driven sometimes

on the plus side there is around 5m canadian dollars in the bank at the end of the last quarter, plus trade debtors of c 2m (rough figures) so cash flow is ok for now at least and there are other facilities that can be drawn down
clearly we need to find oil tho!

buy now for sure before this takes off
but i would say that as I have a hell of a lot of them :)

the upside: multiples of current price if decent oil at either of the C wells - got to be at least 50% chance of that? maybe 70%?

downside : minimal oil, price drops 50% from here, plenty of other opportunities, but admittedly a big disappointment

rigs still owned, still a list of other targets, at least a proper drilling programme initiated

so the upside way outweighs the downside, and the upside if it comes will be a matter of weeks

cant wait, like christmas as a 6 year old

I'm stating the obvious but the price drops don't cost you anything unless you sell. actually now a decent time to sell if you want to create that loss for your tax return for offset vs profits elsewhere

Omnia will need a big investment in equipment to start processing any of our hard rock which will cost $$$
otherwise they would be doing it by now
options are to find a partner to invest or raise a lot of cash which won't be easy
It won't happen this year
best hope is alluvials crank up and maybe the Zambia prospects look great, CB does know copper

as I have said before, it's going to be a long wait for hard rock returns here, I would be surprised to see owt out of the ground in 2019.
we can give colin credit for getting the alluvials going and some income and getting costs down and improving the crappy Nexus deal (what do they get 50% for? nothing as far as I can see)
but i think he labels his hopes/aspirations in his RNSs as expected forecasts,
just believe the figures when they come out
I'm ok with Zambia but it does embed CB further into the company as the only guy who knows the inside track on the various options - impossible to get rid of , I mean anyone could come in and take control at £3m market cap (even me and a few of you) but then what

all looks v neat and tidy
matter of weeks before the black gold starts to make an appearance
this share is a lesson in patience
of course there are risks out there but the SP has been laughably oversold considering the upside here IMO
should be rewarded soon

If you are just letting off some steam thats a different matter

personally I don't think there's harm looking at other opportunities that he becomes aware of.
If you really believe CB is doing deals to make his mates rich at shareholders expense then you really shouldn't be in this share.
If its a waiting game on the hard rock in Manica, and I think it is, then why not look at some other value-enhancing opportunities for the longer term. Agreed we can't take any more dilution, the cash required over 2 years is not huge if Sino get their act into shape.
And if we did get a deal done on hard rock the company would then have somewhere interesting to invest cash flow and develop.

Andrea can certainly present well, I like "we don't want no rat in our portfolio" with reference to pulling out of indonesia deal :)
there seems like a good plan in place re c37 and sister prospects and thereafter, clear on the change of strategy and that all makes sense-
But very light on timescales although I heard the word March in terms of getting a result on c37?
So on the plus side we have cash and access to cash and a good plan, personally I would prefer it wasn't rushed and everything done properly with the right drilling results in March April
Patience required and will be rewarded in my opinion

The bottom line profit will only benefit from the difference between cost of that gold as reflected in the Stock valuation and sale price. Not sure about the exact calc of that "cost" figure, but recent profit margins to XTR have been very slim - so the sale of that gold will carry with it the very low historic margins in terms of the net profit.

It's all about whether production call really ramp up with Sino 2 so that margins can really improve which they then should do as fixed operational cost types are shared over a greater production value.

Personally I see modest uplift which will hopefully create enough Explorator x 50% Contribution to cover central overheads - essentially that buys us time to do these other deals - and they will need time, don't expect anything in Q1 IMHO

i think the company has been describing it as a prospect, but I guess this is why we are at 3.5p , not an additional drop of oil drilled to date, in fact the total has reduced

I don't think anyone is arguing that there is a stock of gold on hand unsold. You seem to have researched those figures thoroughly, appreciated.
I have just been pointing out that at any point in time that gold will be (or should be ) held on the balance sheet of XTR. Would be interested if your figure in ounces at 30th June 18 ties in with the XTR balance sheet valuation of gold stock - it should do i suppose.

Really selling the gold will just reduce gold stock on the balance sheet, increase cash balances. It won't have any significant impact on future reported profits when it is sold. Its always good to have cash I suppose but you can count gold as very near cash anyway so it doesn't make so much difference,it does emphsasise we have a little bit longer to start making profits.

But that is the main issue here: the company is loss making by minimum £500k per annum at last QTRs production. We can debate whether production will uplift, but the unsold gold does not affect that status.
