I've just seen this news about the Norwegian company. Finally getting to the point where I can't defend the management of this company any more (ie (Andrea). I've always been positive about the assets and prepared to be patient - but this latest side-hustle is totally ridiculous

- firstly he's doing it at a time when our shares are near valueless so he has to issue a load to make this investment - why not wait until flow rates confirm 100% at c37 and we make a strike at c30 wen we could easily be at 6p +??

- secondly WTF is the CEO doing being distracted by some corporate action when 100% of his focus should be on c37, c30 and making 100% ALL ducks are in a row for follow on projects?? Look at the PR debacle on C37?? Andrea was probably eating pickled herring and drinking vodka in Oslo when that RNS was botched - ridiculous

I'm not selling nows I have so many of these and as an AJB once said (a million times) great asset, crap management.
But I had hoped to hold all the way up but now just looking for a decent exit point in the next few months and put my money in a company not run by a total idiot.

Just hope that 285 Barrel figure is not pure baloney

so we have raised another £500k at approx 3p - plenty of working capital and ability to purchase drilling assets should we need. There seems to be some logic in gaining track record with Norwegian investors as they seem to be very oil savvy. Yes it's a nice profit for them, quick if they want but smarter to hold and double or more, but these guys will likely be useful further down the line
this placing is now priced in and we are ready to go, I'm ok with it as the question of cash flow can be taken off the table and fairly soon c37 (and fingers crossed C30) oil will start cashing and we will be 10p before we know it and well beyond IMO ,

apologies if this is a dumb question, but given that this drill into c37 seems to have been fcked up to some degree with materials not setting etc....is there any merit in drilling a close and parallel well in to a very similar area to obtain a much better flow rate , or is this as good as it can possibly get at C37?

the patience shown by a lot of investors will pay off now in my opinion
all that's missing is the appearance of some actual oil!
Everything else is set fair in terms of infrastructure and rigs and acreage with great potential, so just the reality that Zen can retrieve the elusive hydrocarbons, good luck all, lets this zoom next week!

I hate to say it as I have a lot of these, but I tend to agree - v mysterious and maybe they hit some glitch that's proving v difficult to work round so they know they will need those future funds
either way significant progress or glitch must be RNSd to shareholders NOW

good to get some clarity on the drilling dates. having come all this way it's no problem waiting a couple of weeks to make sure everything is in its right place and everything double checked

obviously optimistic withe the 3000 barrels a day - but quite possible with further successful drills
with such number the business should be valued £400m plus...a mere 40 x today's valuation -or £1.20 per share

love just thinking about that possibility - though probs would sell out at 12p!

tbf that is quite a scary prospect and you are dead right , a substantial risk with these shares. Unless that drill bites v soon, hitting that average is going to be very difficult I think and then it's a bit of a hopeful attitude with SOCAR. Socar could use the clause to leverage its position with Zenith, extract a better deal knowing that finally a result is imminent - all down to the v poor management shown at this company despite a potentially brilliant asset - the top drive thing was a joke and might affect the actual viability of the company

fair enough if its a duster everyone is screwed but drill should have been in the ground at least 6 weeks ago duh

yup probably left the keys back in Italy knowing this lot, v ludicrous how slow and disorganised they are
but did mean i got the chance to load up today well under 3p market cap at £8m or so

if/when they do hit oil in next 2 months that will look rather cheap

i'm waiting for it to go well beyond that as and when oil is found, but would rather have bought at 3

that is a bargain... seems like a limited supply now even at 3.18 where I just bought some, with HL, may be different elsewhere

it should be in a normal situation, but here there has been a track record of long delays and not so far getting a drop out of the ground. If they can prove that they can get the first one working then hopefully the whole thing gets rerated closer to your yardstick.
fingers crossed this will be pretty soon now
