looks like a very solid 500 + metres mineralisation from Hole 2 which was more than was anticipated and puts the deposit firmly in the Monster category.

time to chill now until hole 3 is done which will further confirm the likely volume of ore - by that time we might have some firm grade results, will be an interesting couple of weeks

that's 550Metres of mineralisation in hole 2 ! with 500 plus being described previously as a monster...

plus 950 METRES mineralisation in Hole 1

Unfortunately i didn't listen much in maths at school, but that's starting to look like a massive piece of copper/gold or gold/copper ore

yes rolling and I would really love that valuation, just a few hurdles to get over first that we need to be realistic about - and the point is that the market values Boda at the £240m less all of Alkane's current income streams and the potential of all of their other interesting projects, just a bit of realism.

the bigger the size of the discovery then I suppose the slightly less of an issue with the metal grades and the chance of actually exceeding Boda - of which there must be a reasonable possibility as he made that Boda comparison after Hole 1 and Hole 2 is looking extremely good, in fact exceeding his expectations.

Anyway I'm definitely holding!

I really really want that to be the case! and it does look very promising , but as yet the income from that is zero and lets see what comes of it by the end of the year.

This is a great discovery at Bushranger and should in due course be valued in its own right. i'm fully aware of Kiwara as well by the way as I held a good few shares in it and exited at a good profit. Lets hope for similar here, distinct possibility.

There are currently extremely minimal income streams (currently alluvial gold?) in XTR that might or might not increase in 2021 with Manica and Eureka . So far there have been many many delays and unkept promises on the hard rock projects as all LTH know. So there is no comparison from these jam tomorrow projects with a current £7m net profit produced by Alkane. In a year things could be very different of course.

Alkane have a number of other significant exploration projects as well as Boda and an established operation generating £7million net profit. XTR is, so far, an explorer that has outsourced it’s hard rock project to someone else for 23%, so its not a mining company, unlike Alkane.

So just because Bushranger MIGHT equal the Boda discovery (very much depending on assays/grades/gold content), even then the potential value of XTR should not be compared with the current Alkane market cap unless you are just sticking a finger in the air.
The market currently definitely says no at the moment as well.

Alkane has CURRENT revenue of £40m plus per annum with a net of profit of over £7 million . Plus it has some significant projects and clear experience of delivering a complex mine.

as much as I respect your the experience you state there Rob , I don't quite agree because there is simply not the volume on the stock today or this week to drive it significantly upwards. If there was tons of volume and no price budge your thesis of the dratted MMs accumulating would make more sense?
If i'm missing something there happy to be corrected.

It may still be a reluctance to back a colin bird discovery - although of course everyone did up to 8.5p on one great hole and not much cash.

On 2 great holes and £5m cash we don't get the same response - quite odd , except that last time the share fell back quickly so people are just being much more cautious this time.

And the big difference between now and the last spike on the Hole 1 news is that we have £5million in the bank to take everything to the next stage (or two). V v good position to be in.

The hole is going to come out in south London somewhere at this rate !- fantastic work to Colin and the team.
Just a matter of time for the share price to catch up to this whether thats hours days or weeks.

One question, the figure of £250,000 per month from eureka is that a net figure to xtr or a gross sales figure before costs?

(As has been mentioned that was all calculated at a significantly lower CU price)

there were only 5 million warrants associated with that last £5m fundraise? tiny amount really, no big deal either way

bottom line or drilling depth here is that we have drilled 350metres of mineralisation and from my understanding we are still in the core of the body.

Given that there was 150m of mineralisation before hitting the core (see previous RNS) its reasonable to guesstimate that there might be the same mineralisation on the other side of the core.

As we haven't exited the core as yet it could well be therefore 350m to date plus a minimum 150m to go(representing pre core) equals minimum 500m breadth to this porphryr - a very large number.

Because the real news here is that they are drilling through to Wednesday at least which does make this a very very large find

Lump on as they say

I had a bit of a feeling that he might have been playing things down a bit for his own reasons.
When he wasn’t sure it was a huge prospect he was blowing the trumpet to get the price moving and raise the money.
Now that he knows that he’s actually sure he’s got a whopper he’s toned it right down and he’s finding ways for cohorts/himself to load up at a very low level. That’s what I’d do.

Colin is a very wily operator for better or worse , but that’s why xtr got its hands on this property in the first place.
