The indications are week by week that we have a decent chance of proving that number. We appear to be proving the volume, if not more. The shortly upcoming assays will start to prove the grade.

The value of 2 million tonnes of copper at 9000$ is : $19 billion dollars in the ground.

I wonder what that makes xtr worth after a couple of good assay results over the next few weeks.

I'm pretty confident that some assays will be incoming next week.
In fact I'm going to put a bit of money on it with a top up on Monday morning :)

I've got a feeling the first assays could drop any day now, Hole one finished 22nd January, well over a month ago, early next week would be my bet.

That will really set the cat amongst the pigeons

I guess we will be getting the assays hole by hole so a procession of positive RNS which will keep filling in the picture.

Colin said a 6 week timescale to a full picture of Bushranger nearly 3 weeks ago and a major part of that will be H1 assays.

(as discussed at the time it would be no surprise if that 6 weeks was a bit optimistic and it end up being 8 or 10)

even if gold is non existent in the assays, this is a very large copper find with economic grades even at the old copper price let alone 9000$

if there is a decent amount of gold or gulp a LOT of gold then this becomes an extremely valuable property

I think it bodas very well !

That’s £60k of hard earned Yorkshire cash, he knows it’s a one way bet from here , could be worth a million in a year :)

I heard he already had a lot before today's 10million at 10p (which I am very fine with) .

He doesn't actually hold a big number of actual shares but a lot of options I believe.

Totally agree with the iceman that someone needs to step up and share presentation duties with Colin .

Forgetting that he’s pretty old and spreading himself a little thin, if we are pitching ourselves as a £100m plus company we need to show strength in depth in the management team.

Dead right that we are pitching a different crowd now and we need to be and look slick and well resourced

I see a share volume of about 11m which isn’t that big really is it, 1.5% of a share that s very widely held.

The size in 3 dimensions have been further proved which is great. The question now is the grades which has been undermined a bit by the xrf comments so the assays become even more pivotal.
I think they will come out as economic and then gold on top .
When they do then clearly this is going to jump, as I have stated a few times institutions will have investment criteria met with this independent analysis confirmation and it’s game on.

In the meantime this is price a steal for those who have done proper research and analysed the investment case properly. Will be adding.

The big boys and girls are not going to be interested until the assays are in, just too risky until that point.
CB saying yesterday that xrf readings are a bit pointless in such deposits does beg the question why he quoted them extensively for hole 1.
As Jamie says we probably have to disregard those readings again
So it’s all about the assays even more than it was before that last rns

Fantastic RNS pretty much as good as we could have hoped for.

I agree that Colin has had a very full day and it’s better released at 5pm tonight than 8am. This might be the soonest he could collate the info and publish and he has done just that- great work and all the uncertainty is done with.
It should jump tomorrow, if it doesn’t no worries we will have the assays soon and that’s when the really big moves start from those investors with higher hurdles (ie investing other peoples money).

As for the size, why is a 1000m cube not a bad estimate now for this find? Or approx 3billion tonnes

Of course it will be an irregular shape, but it could just as easily be irregularly larger than 3bn t as less than 3bn tonnes. So that’s the best estimate we have right now.

This is surely now a massive discovery in Tier 1 vicinity .
