most of us here believe xtr is a great long term investment, so agreed that its a 3 month plus horizon - its just good for CB and the sentiment for XTR for him to be consistent and credible with what he says, I for one think he will provide the assays imminently I mean imminently from here.

its a game of opinions, but that Hole 1 assay at 800+ metres of ore is going to give a very good heads up to the overall grades we are looking at and I for one can't wait to see it!

I think an overall picture is nice, and you were right a few weeks back CE it will be April befire we get that. Understandable its going to take longer given the different directions we have been drilling.

It might also make sense to announce all the assays together as a package with an estimate find size at that point, BUT colin has clearly said that Hole 1 assay is being published first, on its own, so we can definitely expect that.

He also said" when i say imminent I mean imminent" on thursday, for my money if that is later than the end of this week that's a big overpromise - my personal prediction is RNS within next 2 days for Hole 1 given what was said.

at the end of the day everyone is entitled to their view, even pessimistic

granted that Tonychoccalonely probably can't afford any shares, either short or long, and is just trying to get attention , but this morning there are definitely more sellers than buyers ! (rather than the dratted masked market makers dragging the price down to fill a huge buy order lol - basic economics anyone?).

as for certain investors with brilliant timing selling at the top of the spike and getting in sub 7p now great work, especially the guy who bought sub 7p last week when the price was 7.40 lol

nothing has changed here except a few weaker holders getting pannicky, an extremely good price here for anyone who wants it

A large part of the value of GT gold I believe is the Saddle North copper gold porphyry

I'm tryng to look at a comparison between what we MIGHT have nere at XTR/Bushranger and what has already been proved up at Saddle North.

starting to look at what they have there compared to us - I'm way behind on some of the technical knowledge of some here but I thought it might be a useful comparison to look at?

eg does it look a lot bigger or smaller than what we might have , trying to figure lol

Dibs agreed, I think that is a great point that CB made today, and an obvious one when you think about it:
we already have a big clue to grades from the previous AA jorc drills , which were good grades

- plus from my reading grades can very likely be higher lower down, ie those new areas we have recently proved have mineralisation and provide the additional significant scale...

this is actually looking very very cheap now all of a sudden

even with a "low" 0.2% copper average its a stunna, anything above .3% and its surely out of the park...

In a way nothing changes with this RNS - we knew the drill was drilling through mineralisation, of course it could always been 100m + butt 800m in a new direction? I for one am very happy to have that confirmed today, its showing such a great level of consistency that this thing is very large in all dimensions.

Assays soon then ...how soon is now? cos that's when I want them !

Nice and concise, great result at 876 so 800+ metres of mineralisation - very similar to Hole 3
He's not making a big fuss about it because the results speak for themselves
Very large size deposit has more or less been proved
The assays will determine how many and how desperate the calls Colin will be getting
He doesn't need to excite the price as that is going to take care of itself pretty shortly

Thanks and that makes a lot of sense, taking what we have as a possible max dimensions then chiselling down to a likely shape to be a bit more conservative

Andrew , thanks v much for those calculations earlier today and I think with hole 5 increasing in size every day the prize grows and grows!

One question though, and I might easily be wrong here , but your various shape permutations are based on the 3 dimensions defined by holes 1 to 3 being the largest measurement in any one of these 3 dimensions?

Is it not the case that with say 1000 x 1000 x 1000 drill results , the AVERAGE outcome of these drills is a cube of 1000 cubic metres or 2.7 billion tonnes. Why could the shape not be irregularly larger than that figure as irregularly lower? Ie there could be bigger measurements in any one of the 3 dimensions as yet discovered as there could be lesser measurements? (As implied by your sub cuboid shape dimensions)

Tbh I know I could be so wrong here :) if so grateful for any correction , this board is a good place to learn stuff

- as someone said below ,stocks (especially AIM stocks) are a bit of a gamble , try and get the odds on your side, XTR right now has an awful lot of upside and limited downside

Shorn, my layman's answer would be that 2mt of copper is worth $15billion plus in the ground at $7.5k per tonne copper.

Even if a plant cost even $2bn and the marginal cost of extraction was 33% of the copper sale value (I'm pretty sure it would be much less than that with a state of the art capex set up) there would still be $8bn of profit for the major doing the mining over maybe 20 years.
(less of course the $500m plus + to pay XTR)

This copper also appears to be relatively close to the surface and in a great low risk mining area.

Thanks Iceberg , that is a very useful map. And of course that drill is heading north northwest direction which I'm thinking extends the reach of the porphyry as previously envisaged?

thereby potentially giving a significant boost to the dimensions of an already large deposit.
If this Drill 5 was 80m into mineralisation on monday morning and is still turning now saturday morning at say 70m per 24 hours then thats's 430m mineralisation so far, estimate.
