We’re getting some selling into the interest. I wouldn’t actually mind seeing a bit more.

Iceland ploughing on. 74p todays currency.

Finished yesterday 72p.

Last buy shown as equivalent of 70p, in Iceland trading.

Last post from me on here, because I been out 2 weeks.

My view on these ‘shorters’ always been challenged, but I consider if sufficient in the market believed the price should be higher, then the higher it would be.

And no, I have no intention of buying again until whatever it is that is putting off buyers is shown to have disappeared.

Unlike some, I can’t lose money and claim it as a win.

Just an observation that the company currently seems to be trading a couple pence up on Iceland market, on todays exchange rates.

And time it gets to FS, it’ll just get wrapped up within what Newmont then come up with. So no skin off their nose.

I’ve little doubt what was put out was cleared by Newmont. They will at least have recognised the position he was in.

Anyway. Best of luck. In fairness, Mr. Day had to deliver on his promise, with or without Newmont, and was apparently constrained in what info. he chose to release at this time.

I’m out as I said previously. Appears to me Newmont said we’re not really interested until we get to FS.

There might be. Obviously depends on how they see best interest, and their visibility on forward cash.

Whatever happens, there’s good opportunity for capital growth alongside returns. I believe.

I view Mxc as ‘sharp’ operators. It all has to flow back to them in one way or another for those operators to best profit.

Which is why I stayed when they went private, and vastly increased my holdings at knock-down prices.

I don’t relish being on the dark side though. You hear nothing. Though I’ve had opportunity for payouts ( didn’t take the last ) I’ll be glad when the company is wound up and I can see my cash again.

It is very clear Mxc’s interest will be sold. I see that as Tialis being sold. For cash.

If it continues to trade below value, Mxc will at least consider taking it private, as they did with themselves, though I believe at an earlier time they said they had no current intentions of doing so.

It’s a slow process, but that’s alright. Geared only at increasing eps. More shares cancelled, more earnings for each of those remaining.

We had conversation about that earlier on this page. I can’t add to that.

They are making enough to invest in the future, tech, new and upgraded stores, as well as making returns to shareholders through normal dividend. And now additional returns.

I see that continuing. And I guess by future buy-back programmes, having satisfied dividend.

Shares will prove to be cheap as economy improves. Buying them back now is efficient and effective.
