If you’re using De Grey as a model, anybody had a stab at how many shares Greatland would need to issue to satisfy the equity component of a raise to buy 70% Hav, Telfer, and take 100% through to production? The scenario touted on here. Ggp market cap about £306m.

I mean, it’s so selective on here. I’m not particularly swayed by pundits, but those money of mine people found fit to mention ‘a billion plus IPO’, as the yobby one put it.

Course, nobody much on here would want to go along with that.

High and mighty? A fundraise you’re all praying for. Don’t be daft? On what the market knows just now, delays, money and the terms of it, is Mr. Day’s biggest challenge. But it’s his job to sort that - and tell us later. I’m wary of it. I think the price tells you others are too. It’ll likely go on after, at some stage.

Well, perhaps I shouldn’t have mentioned it. In my little world, it’s not so bad, But I appreciate some might find it offensive. Don’t know why.

Never been any secret in my position. I was in, then I was out. Stuck what I had here, little bit more than I put in, in Newmont. Pulled £10k out. In the bank, and still giving Newmont a run. Up and down with gold. Do my best with that. Might go in here again. Might not.

You see, people can’t direct themselves to 100% of this or that without looking at the cost of money. Whatever form that cost takes. And that’s the rub.

But for you lot. On this board. We’re going to have a fundraise. We might just get diluted to hell. But who cares. It’s brilliant. And In 2 years we’ll all be millionaires.

And it’s for development of 30%, not for acquiring stuff.

You can call me a fool, Trippy, but I sold at 10p - 9p. And not sat here worrying about the effect on pi’s of a fundraise, possible dilution, etc. Nomatter what the longer term might hold.

And if it’s all so positive - have a look at yer price.

There’s no funding information beyond the initial RNS on 2mtpa, as circumstances stood then. I know Mr. Day apparently said at town hall ‘we’ have the funding. Who’s we? It’s not Greatland, as far as the market is concerned.

In the meantime, they must be somewhere close to drawing on the Wyloo loan facility.

It’s not gambling. It’s not chess. The money men will be all over it. And perhaps Newmont will feel inclined to discount, to be rid of future capex, and pay down a bit of debt together with the 1bn buyback that might still be on the cards.

More likely how the positive news is funded.

If there’s a fundraise and a placing and the way is then clear ahead, as it should be then, I expect them to have bought at what is then envisioned as the bottom price, whatever level that is.

I guess this will all come together at FS stage, which will include processing, the existing loan arrangements being subject to FS criteria. Plainly the banks, and any other lender, will need to know full on going costings, revenue start, including changes arising from any corporate developments. I’m assuming previous conversations were around the previous majority holder’s ownership of Telfer for processing.

He’s pretty much tied to the majority owner, if it turns out to be other than Greatland. Can’t see there’s be. dissent between partners on operations.
