ok, yeah, dates make more sense when you say it like that. I'm at work the next two days so can't monitor it as closely, and i have 2 going ex-divi tomorrow so my portfolio will be down, and a quick glance at the app on my phone wont help me notice changes because of the dip i'm expecting, so i might just set a limit sell and wait to be surprised !

..... take a guess at what the dividend will be ? This is something i am trying to take into account should sell, in my decision on when to buy back in

I've still got them, todays rise caught me off guard, and my limit sell had expired. I'm curious though to be honest, i have time to sell and buy back in, i'm fairly sure of that, but i want to know what cause a 3% spike today, it could have been the market as a whole uplifting, we're not due the end of year results until mid/late May if past history is a guide..... so what caused todays rise, and will it maybe continue tomorrow ? oh, and this site has been a complete write-off for 2 days at least, in regards to usability

the only update i give a flying f about, is one that says we are returning to a trade-able platform so i can off load this crap and get some money back

�3 would be nice, and is a possibility, but it's not going to happen any time soon, we'll take a hit off the ex-divi date next week, and the markets are not exactly stable at the moment, and this share seems to increase on slow steady growth periods. i'll likely be out around the 280 mark, but will hold that money to buy back in later

thanks, and will do.... if i'm really unsure, i'll just sit tight :) Porsche.... i'd say ur avg comes into the equation, and how much of your initial investment you got back from the resent sale, it is a fair holding you have, but, that will give a hell of a dividend as a nice sweetner

yeah, all valid points, i've held this one, and topped up from the very beginning, i'm on a nice lowish average, and am happy picking up the dividends, however i would like to try and trade it a bit to increase my holding. I do agree, a little greed is good, and you have to be aggressive with holding lower averages, to make the big gains, but i've been stung like that too, having held something i should have sold last year, but was looking for a little more profit. 582p here was just unattainable the last time we pushed towards it, so i seem to have got the resistance level down about right, so may bail a little earlier, but am wary that the results may prove a positive factor on the SP, that said we've all got shares that fell on good news !

I still have my 5.82 target in place, but as the results draw closer, don't know if i'll have the bottle to sell and buy back in before, or wait till after the results.

hhhmmmm, no chance of me making that, given my working schedule, but thanks for the info, i also think a lot of it would likely go over my head! will be interesting to hear form anyone that might attend though

we saw 579, and i had a limit sell to drop my entire holding at 582, and it didn't quite reach it, telling me i was at that time, right to consider that it wouldn't push to 600, i just mis-judged the peak my a couple of pence. I still feel the same right now, given time, good results and the right market stability

agreed robins, however, i have (reluctantly) topped up the other week and dropped my average down to 10.60 and nearly topped up again to lower it to 10.05, but i invested the money elsewhere that will pay 10x the dividend of this pathetic share, tenner a share an a dividend that is in the zero point something range is atrocious and a joke. (oh and that �11.11, i'd add in your trading fee as well given that it'll cost you to sell them, and work the avg out incl that!)

unlikely in my opinion, perhaps if the branch out into the US market is more successful than hoped, and we have no further homegrown issues.
