16.3 is a good dividend, i was thinking it might have been frozen at last years level, or be a tiny bit lower to help cover the pensions commitment. overall good steady results, the not quite reaching the first class target is a bit negligible and likely due to external factors such as the bad weather. Is it enough to fend of a dip, not sure, it might be, GLS performance is encouraging

i suspect there may be a little dip off the results, but, given it's strong performance lately, i think overall sentiment might hold it up. without a doubt, the market has priced in good results, will the results be good enough to satisfy the market, almost certainly not, that's a bit like the donkey and the carrot story, but will it hammer the price back into the low 5's, i can't see it..... it would help with my decision when to buy back in if it did of course! but i'd realistically need to consider the size of any likely drop after the ex-divi date as well as the size of the divi, sometimes its worth simply waiting until after than.... for NAH that was certainly the case

now reduced, given where the contract is ? before last week we were all thinking 50p easy on signing, now people are thinking 30's when they say going ahead but there will always be this cloud over it now, will we ever reach full value without something hanging over us holding us back ?

when they do know the effects on the supply line, i think we should be told, ALL of the story, not some half truths. it's time PF stopped waffling, and laid the cards on the table. only PF could announce a multimillion pound contract, and find a way for the SP to drop

yeah that's fine Redco, and yeah, i did notice lol..... i have been holding when i should sell, and selling when i should hold for a bit now, and whichever way i second guess myself it's always wrong. Take WSG yesterday, 26% drop in the last 10 minutes of trading, i'f i'd bailed at the bell (if i had chance) i'd have sold at 13.6 off an 8.24 avg, then on opening it opened at 12 and dropped sub 10p i could have bought back and made a fair bit, that was a total of over 50% drop in the space of an hours trading! as it is i held (nearly triggered my stoploss at 9) and it closed at 12.75 ish, so only a little down on the day, but still an uncomfortable rollercoaster ride. I am genuinely happy for you guys still holding here, i never dreamed it would hit an all time high before these results, never saw that coming, afterwards perhaps.

....my p*ss poor record of decision making continues, dropped circa 4k on WSG yesterday as well just for an added kick in the balls. Sticking with QP through the buy out - shafted by CE and BOD taking a crap deal, subsequent shares in CLIN now worth squat compared to what they "valued it at" Sold EasyJet after recovering to a small profit, sold - then it climbed like this Held NAH through the year in the red, got just above break even, held for divi, paid well, then fell >15% and shows no sign of recovery yeah, 'm doing real well, think it's time to consider pulling all of my money out of stocks and shares

only because they don't class the closing price as the starting point, so the blue/red indicator is based on opening price, the fact it opened nearly 25% down on close isn't taken into account in that blue / red status, which is BS

initial drop bottomed 1/2p above my stop loss, now lets see what the afternoon slide brings, i suspect we'll be in limbo till later in the day now, probably drift a penny either side of where we are now

i've set a stop loss, first time ever with this share, i'm not going into the red again with it, period, it dropped >25% today, and that's counting from the false level of opening, and not previous close, if it hits my stop loss tomorrow that'll be another 33% and if that happens, good riddance

I thought it states the existing middle east client.... ie the same as the contract, that they didn't want to tell us who it was with... for what is now obvious reasons, one security hiccup out of iran, and lets face it.... it's going to happen, and the WSG stock will plummet, and everyone knows it

Could be right there John, the value of the contract to the market will be affected heavily by there belief in the stability of it, and had i known it was Iran, i'd have been gone long ago, or never invested in the first place. So even if the deal goes through, i'd expect the market to suppress the value heavily and any target price i had in mind is immediately halved.
