very disappointing finish, and that's before we see them try and take advantage of the news to do a placing. i's almost like the market simply doesn't believe the results, or is waiting for the dilution event which has plagued every bit of good news with this company, and if we do get shafted with a placing, then this will plummet

That sky news story could very well have caused the sort of drop we saw, and may continue to see, strange i would have felt that story would have dropped with a little more noise and coverage.

agreed, now you mention it, the payment date is quite late, but so is the ex-divi date as well, i wasn't expecting such a period in which to have to make my mind up when to buy back in.

another 10p and i'll be back in, if not then i may wait till after the dividend because if this is the over-reaction to good results, then the ex-divi date could be a blood bath !

yup, agreed, the bad bit is they put "on the register at the close of business" and then put the 27th, which is wrong isn't it, you need to be on the register on the OPEN of business on the register date

they have that statement i copied in the release, yet also state Financial Calendar: Trading update � 17 July 2018 Annual General Meeting � 19 July 2018 Ex-dividend date � 26 July 2018 Record date � 27 July 2018 Payment date � 31 August 2018 So Aresnal is correct, and the wording on the bit i copied was wrong, which is pretty bad! https://www.dividenddata.co.uk/ is also giving the 26th (although i am currently ip address blocked from there !)
