agreed bojo, i too am on a healthly sub 180 avg, my only regret is not selling when it exceeded my target price when your namesake was elected, should have had the convictions of my plan, as i could have bough considerably more for the same cash, although whether i would have had the ability to watch it fall all that way without buying back in above £2 i'm not sure lol

Normally, i would agree with that statement, but on AIM, those share prices seem to get manipulated around at will to fill certain parties needs, some more than others, and strangely enough, right before placings seems a favourite time

I have a question regarding RHA and these tailings.... i know it's probably been asked and answered somewhere in the multi million pages of chit chat here, so please bear with me, as i can't find the answer right now, so was hoping someone might know off the top of their head..........

Given that the tailings are just that... tailings, or waste byproduct if you prefer, that have usually been through some sort of plant, usually a wash plant of one description or another to extract the material worth selling, so why are we running them again?.... what did they miss the first time around that justifies the time, cost and wear and tear on the machinery to re-process them ?? surely focus and priority should be on establishing contracts with the higher grade material and getting volume through and processed and out the door for monetary return, rather than re-running material we've already processed once, surely the returns have got to be less

i'd take that 2018 spike right now lol, would release me from my ties here. But yeah, with hind sight i could have averaged down when we were much lower and opened up the chances of selling earlier, or do as you have and buy/sell when we were lower and make some cash off those

HL has been a little out of step all day, i've been watching GWMO and been getting trade offers to buy at below the bid that they have been showing on their site, but here the figures looked more in tune with the offers..... one things for sure, i wont be trusting their auto fill order system.

either that or it's hit it's upper limit value wise, which i suspect is more likely, this dog hasn't been worth more than £9 ever, just ramped there

yeah we are well rid of money leaching parsons, waste of space, new guy is sure stepping into the deep end though, point to note, since arriving at AST, looks like business as usual for him, one consolidation form what i can see followed by a 50% SP fall, pretty good for a 3 month track record, i'd say they are in deep doodoo over there, and i'd reckon CORO won't be far behind given it's the same cronies involved over there

seems to be a little movement in the SP today, but the bid seems to be firmly welded to 1.3, with the spread now opening up into the region of 13.5%

.....draw back this morning, i was expecting a few pence pull back after yesterdays gains, not sure 10p (4.5%) crossed my mind though, i was beginning to think there had been some sort of news release!

Joe is right, you may have stepped at the peak of the rise from the last week or so, but there are many of us long term holders that are not going to be selling this one just yet, it's a solid performer with a nice dividend, and where a lot of other big performs/dividend payers cut or suspended the dividend, LGEN continued to pay it, and it's telling that we are now not far from a pre covid shareprice, where many of the others are down circ 60%.

This is a solid share to keep in your portfolio

believe me, i hope you're right, given my .45+ avg here as a result of not selling when i should have, and refusing to pour more money in to avg down. That said, it's only a tiny amount i have speculated in here, so as they say, if you can't afford to lose it.... !

yup, another way of saying jam tomorrow, it's easy to see a 7-9% change, when your share price is so low tiny increments can and do produce such changes, when this passes a 25% rise in the day, then i might look at it differently, till then, the rose coloured glasses stay in the bottom draw

this is not a share to hold long term unless you are prepared to constantly pour money into averaging down

i know lots of promises, hopes, expectations blah blah blah, which we are still waiting to come to fruition

it's been 2 years since this share has been anywhere near 4p, so i'll believe that when i see it (which i wont) given that since then it's been on a downward trajectory with only one sign of life towards the end of last year.

what Wolf suggested/pondered would not surprise me, it's exactly the sort of thing c0ckroach would do

unfortunately maddog i think you are right, because this has been a perpetual under-performer for me for years, going back to pre-consolidation days and times when we were called rare earth minerals !.... name changes and consolidations is never a good thing to see in any companies history
