Looked to me like a solid update, news all seemed good, sound results and squarely on track with what they forecast at the time of their IPO, business seems to be doing well across all dept's, yet the share price is suffering.... i'm assuming this is because the sector as a whole is in a bit of a slump. Only thing i would have liked was a hint towards expected dividend next year, at current prices, i might top up a little if i have the chance

it's not the value, it's the rate of change with the higher priced shares, in that i'd be looking for pounds increase to cover a reasonable return. I used TED as an example, i got into that at a fairly good buy in point, results have been fairly solid from them, brokers are tipping them and rating as a buy, but to clear anything worthwhile, i need a 3 or 4 pound climb, and it's just not showing any signs of recovering 1 pound let alone any more. And to move that sort of amount, the higher priced shares need something more substantial

In all seriousness though, i've had my eye on this one for a little while, missed an opportunity to get in at a low level after brexit due to no funds at the time, and it has struggled a little bit since then, but i still think long term it's a good investment But i am wary because, like Ted Baker, it's another high price per share stock, given the amount i'm investing, which makes me look to invest more than i probably normally would, but that said, it's the dividend i'm interested in in this one, so if i can get in low enough to carry a small buffer when it recovers, then i'll be happy to hold for a while. Will be keeping a close eye on this, as i am my BNC shares, if things work out i can get out of those at the right level to allow me to re-invest here

I've gambled, reset my limit buy, and taken the cash offer (i've not got as high a holding as your example, thus the figures are greatly reduced) Basically, by taking the cash i drop a small amount, which i hope to recoup by having the option to sell before the 14th Nov, because i don't want to pick up a second set of trading 2nd set of trading fees as i plan on selling all of my holding. Your example is very eye opening all the same, and had i had more then that is what i would have done, but as it is, i'm gambling that i can sell at the current high, and i suspect it'll slip back before the 14th Nov, plus i need funds for another possible investment or 2 which are currently at inviting levels.

potentially, my limit buy would have triggered had i not cancelled it pending a decision what to do with the new warrants. As for them being as a sector being unfairly treated, i don't know, they always seem to come out of these things, but investors and customers get well and truly shafted. a slow steady rise to 20p over £4 might give a little buffer and would be nice, but it's not going to stay there, i'm probably going to take the extra shares, and hope the SP holds around current levels before cutting and running!

so am i right in thinking that (subject to the shareprice) we are better off taking the new shares when you way up the options? 1. no spanish tax on them 2. reduced share price average 3. potentially worth more than taking the cash option 4. again potentially worth more than selling your rights on the open market the only 2 downsides i see are 1. share price collapse, as it's prone to do 2. and, if like me you were considering cutting and running asap after the ex-divi date, given that the new shares are not expected to be issued until the 14th Nov at the earliest, so means potentially holding longer than i wanted (i had a limit sell set in the 390's i've now cancelled temporarily so what are your thoughts guys ?

yeah, agreed, i didn't expect to be bobbing along at break even point for this long after purchasing, i thought a swift rebound of about 10p was likely, and then a slow rebuild of the price, slightly surprised it's dropped and held, i would consider putting more in if i had it, but have other things planned first.

Frustrating because it's a very hard share to see why it's fluctuating some times, and therefore not an easy one for me to trade, i've also got a small loss to cover form some that were held out of my isa and i added some to that a while back on their free trading/topup day and they were at 4.70 as that turned out to be the highest share price day for that month! It drops like a stone at the slightest whim, yet takes weeks to scrape back to said levels, even with good news it's a slow recover-er, the latest RNS is interesting though.

is the best way i can describe this share.

can you expand on that please, i need to phone hargreaves&lansdown about mine, which were in my stocks and shares ISA. was going to do that monday

but i swear H&L are a bunch of T*** they re-invest between the 11th and 21st of the month, but, wont re-invest money that comes in during that time, stating that they re-invest on the 11th.... so when my divi was not re-invested yesterday i called today, oh, it's scheduled for today, showing as pending when i called, but was told no, we dont necessarily re-invest on the 11th, so thanks guys, you re-invested today, at the highest ask price for the day, 3p above opening and at least 2p above yesterdays prices, if it was for more i would have cancelled it and re-invested it myself at a time of my choosing, but the trading fee was reduced enough for me to bother, but, on the main divi from them, i think i'll do it myself, because had i do that i think i'll be better off, even paying the higher trading fee.

'Good performance across all channels despite challenging trading conditions' so, another solid results release, can we now please see some sort of recovery back to previous levels, before the SP took a beating with a big stick for very little reason !!

not sure, i've only had one eye on this one at the moment, because whilst it is again down in the region i'm interested in, i don't have free funds right now

it needs to stabilise and prove that it's bottomed out before we start to see any from of recovery, and i still wouldn't rule out a trace back, the BoD needs to do something to build market convidence, because right now i'm sure a few are thinking "as soon as i hit break even this is gone!"

right, that makes more sense now, especially as the second table on the RNS page loaded this time, i thought i was missing something (or being dumb) couldn't work out which way around it was ! thanks, and yeah, that'll explain the reluctance to recover a little from the slump, and i'm thinking that would have been some large loss they took on those too.

I have an upper limit sell set, and it's higher than that! I don't have a huge amount invested, but still feel this has the chance to grow nicely and provide me with a good return, so i don't mind holding for a little while, and if it spikes for some reason, and i sell earlier, then so be it!

It could do, although it would be nice to see a little stabilisation by the close of play, closing nearer to 38p would help re-balance things a little, but this week could be very turbulent all the same. bottom line is the business is pretty much the same as it was yesterday, just needs to tighten it's belt a bit, and offload the dept that is not doing so well. I wanted into this one when it was around the sub 50 point back in april, i guess i'm happy i missed it then, given my buy in point now... just have to hope i picked the right one out of the 3 things i've been looking at, because i didn't have the funds available for all of them, and still smarting i didn't get into CTAG at 11p, that would have given me some funds to play with. and a 3% divi within the first few weeks of holding is a bonus
