RE: Yield17 Jun 2017 13:29
no idea, i tend not to take the figures here too seriously at times, because i don't subscribe, therefore tend to get a sub-par service in respect to up to date figures, everything displayed for me is 15 minutes behind, whereas on H&L where my funds are held, it's live prices.
Dividends and Yields etc for me are subjective, the dividend data can be trawled from many places, and the yields i tend to work out based on my buy in points, so regardless of the current holding value be it up or down, i see what the money i have invested is returning, gives me an idea compared to other forms of savings, albeit those that can't go down in value!
Speaking of dividends, from what i can work out, this is the rough timeline for our next dividend....
9/8/17 - 1/2 year results, which should confirm an interim dividend payment of 4.30p per share
17/8/17 - Ex-dividend date
21/9/17 - Payment date for above dividend
That one alone for me represents a 2.4% return on the money i invested here, so i'm more than happy to continue holding.
