patience is not my strong suit, and this didn't move anywhere near where i expected it too on the signing news, and now its tumbling back..... disapointing

There's also that Japanese purchase to consider as well, hopefully that will assist in accelerating growth too. Given the relatively small number of CLIN shares i'll be picking up and comparatively high SP, i can't see me holding this one for too long, i'd like to see a certain gain out of it however, to give me what i believe QP was worth, because yes, we got sold down the river so to speak, shareholder/investor value was not high on his priorities, i feel for those that were on higher averages, having stuck with it as things turned, and started to look up, only to have the rug pulled form under them.

i have to admit, i'm not fully up to speed on some of these RNS's and dont fully understand the current situation, seems to be a lot of holdings news releases, and i do wonder if there are some short positions being taken, i dont see the deal falling through, but clinigens SP has fallen to below the level we were tied too, as such we've seen a drop here

did someone just take a massive short position on this ?

that could be the one that has just taken a shiny new job with lots of options/bonuses and a boat load of cash

xmas business substantially could effectively flip big business customers to other delivery methods... and those would be unlikely to return, this will then result in company austerity... and as this will be due to a reduction in work, that austerity will come in the form of jobs, if the business is not there, they will reduce the workforce proportionately, what use will strikes do you then ?

on the high court ruling? i seem to think that it sort of points at the unions being unrealistic (again) but also i see it as yet another delay, and that both parties should have made more of an effort to follow the set down procedures. but, at some point, something has to give, and whilst companies can't run roughshot over workers, unions must realise by now, in this day and age, workforce tail wagging the dog so to speak simply results in business going down the pan and people being laid off, a no-win for anyone involved.

their plans to become less reliant on the Personal Injury side of the business is coming together with the Alternative Business Structure plans moving forwards, hopefully this will be the start of a build back towards my average! Looks like we've found the bottom and climbed out of it a bit, now just need to sustain that growth and SP progression

Phoned H&L earlier after getting the scheme message in my secure inbox, and registered my vote, along with checking a few details, and whilst i was on the phone, the chap checked this partial share issue, and apparetnyl they will pay the fraction of a share in cash along with the 37p per share. So, that's nice, i can almost get one free trade out of that. Plus, our shares should be in place in time to be eligible for the CLIN Divi.... a massive 0.3%

Taking that into account, and my trading fee for selling the CLIN shares when i get them, means that i would need to sell the CLIN shares at �11.29 to break even in this deal and get the full value of the offer based on the QP shares being valued at 82p each, and to hit the same value if i was to just sell my shares, i'd need to get 0.837 for the QP shares

nice to see them shafting us to the last penny.... my holding results in an uneven calculation when multiplying my holding by .0405 Resulting in a .877 of a share mis-match..... so they are rounding down to the whole figure (from the official message in my H&L account) and effectively just ignoring that .877 of a CLIN share, which equates to �9.73p roughly, based on each CLIN share being worth �11.10 as per the agreement.

I wonder if this hasn't run it's course yet. i'm gonna hold till the fat lady sings, and see how things play out, i've got nothing to lose so to speak

well i'm still holding, but am wondering at what point it will become more beneficial to get out earlier and not be locked in waiting for the sale and transfer of the CLIN shares.

Question.... do you think our shares in CLIN be issued and on the books by the time the Ex-Dividend date rolls around ? According to this http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail/CLIN/13378038.html that would be the 9th of Nov, not that it makes much difference because they are paying a measly 5p on the year (3.4p of that on this upcoming dividend) which on a share of this cost (circa £11) is basically less than half a percent, which is pretty p!ss poor. Looking at the price of CLIN, even a £1.90 rise would only yield the same sort of increase as QP going to 90p, and i know which i would have put my money on doing before the end of the year!! i'll probably let the deal go through take the free shares and as soon as i can get a little more than the deal price i'll be out, unless i need money before the cut off date, which has still to be confirmed right ? but right now it's looking like a long drawn out process.

interesting someone said earlier about "if the CLIN share price rose to 1300, it would equate to a 90p QP deal price" well, that would be a 1.90 rise for CLIN, versus an 8p rise for QP, i know which i would have expected, and to be honest i may get out before the cut off point, just for the simplicity of it

if i'd avg'd down on the low, i'd have been able to exit about even (up with divi's) prior to the dividend, but as i didn't i'm still holding the higher average, that said, it has just paid me a total of 11% dividend for this year, and as i can afford to hold then there is a silver lining to this :)

yeah, this is odd..... http://www.dividenddata.co.uk/ex-dividend-date-search.py?searchTerm=NAH States Ex-Date as the 28th, so in theory you need to have bought on the 27th, yet...... http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail/NAH/13366996.htm States the date of record as the 29th, and does not mention the 28th at all so, normally, you can buy on the 28th to still be on the record for the 29th, as i'm not buying anymore it doesnt matter to me, but will be interested to see when the likes of H&L consider it Ex
