Ottensmeier has been involved in other DNA vaccines not only Scancells ... though of course we know he is well aware of scancells vaxxes... the aspect you should take as positive is he is basically saying yeah mRNA great but you know what DNA can do the same and who knows maybe even better...... and then, of course, there is coming whole new classes of immunotherapies one of which he is very well aware of :) an exiting time indeed to be involved in this field

If a potato an onion a turnip and a Brussels sprout were put in front of them as the new BOD they would call them the finest and most capable .... they are clueless and the sp is sinking as fast as the chance of any future dividends... I'd suggest culpability for that lies with the current BOD of lemons but the echo chamber of starve out the workforce that'll work can't hear it :)

Listing has been discussed on here many times over the years mainly relating to AIM not really being the best market for scancell to be listed on and indeed in the past, the company has concurred it is a possible route forwards ...however it would be more an end game move now there is no need to be looking to NASDAQ at this stage Redmile may well see it as one of their possible plans of cashing in and out but that will only be done when it's likely to be a really big value listing .... otherwise it's a complete waste .......

Yeah 2023 has a lot of potential excitement and progress for us... and possible twists and usual scancell surprises
I'm sure Redmile will be very supportively involved in the best plan forward....

Truth is with the Modify trial now well up and running if it is a case of modi 1 really really works then I do not think there needs to be much worry about anything going forwards as it will not go unnoticed-by the world! And then it will be very much game on..... how it all gets monetised is a different matter but I don't think Lindy looks over at the likes of BioNTech and Moderna and goes oh I think they have got the best answers and that their products are more valuable than ours , she sees them as peers but is happy to tell you she has a different(better)) idea of how to do immunotherapy :)

BTW the Moderna story that's another one of those how-the hell tales of wow!... today it has an mcap of $76 billion!!!! why ? and why does BioNTech only have a sad miserable mcap of $43 billion lol..... I dunno that is the mystery of this sector and values given... but blimey those values are eye watering...... Moderna and BioNTech were always about developing cancer vaccines the opportunity offered by Covid both financially but also in actually proving up their novel mRNA approach has been a game changer for both companies.... And made mRNA mainstream

The thing is mRNA is not that different a vaccine route than DNA and Lindy chose DNA over mRNA... the stumbling block to ImmunoBody to my mind was always delivery - the reliance on electroporation that now has gone and this is one very important part of the Covidity trial the pharmajet data ... mRNA had the advantage thereby using lipid delivery which means they are simply injectable... lots of patent issues and other issues with mRNA though and it is more expensive to manufacture than DNA...... so certainly in light of the huge success of mRNA vaccines and massive exposure and acceptance and desire for other pharma to get in on the game it makes ImmunoBody a rather attractive platform for those wanting in on that new vaccine market...... let's hope the covidity data is compelling... showing it does what it set out to do

There are many ingenious ways to tweak formulations and extend patents... Scancell also has something on offer for all these MaBs too...AvidiMab! :)

Really though if modi 1 proves itself to be as potent as it was in preclinical studies there is a chance that keytruda is not needed... even more of a mortal blow to Merck!

Time will tell ....as we head into another one of those most pivotal for scancell ever years!.... TBF 2022 defo has proven to be the most genuinely pivotal but 2023- will be the year of data that could send us somewhere very special indeed

So what do we say is clinically significant?... of course I think most of us would agree with patient 1 who was looking at palliative care a breakthrough has been achieved (likely caused by modi 1).... however it will of course all come down to numbers and %s and in the fullness of time the most important of all the overall survival stats... It's that the understanding of how moditope works when it works is quite spectacular and conclusive... CD4 cytotoxic T cells melting tumours and a T cell memory response created.......if Lindy has this right we won't need to wait for trial conclusion to be sure the world will know.... hopefully the next Modify RNS will give more of an early indication as if it is not just patient 1 showing tumor regression... a regression we now know is thankfully continuing then that word breakthrough comes a lot closer

The Keytruda story is fascinating both in how it was discovered how it came to end up with Merck and then how it ended up being Merck's biggest selling saviour... as none of it was certain and indeed it was BMS's Opvido in a trial that woke Merck up to what they had previously written off.... There is no way the Modify trial on positive data will go unnoticed by all the leaders in onco pharma.... it is just too much of a valuable and contested hot space.... Keytrudas patent protection runs out in 2028... they are working hard to get around that one too

Yes, they underestimated CI's and chose the wrong one as a leader although Keytruda and Opdivo are very much the same drugs with Merck having to pay BMS a small amount on each sale of Keytruda due to patent rights ...BMS made poor trial judgments costing them that market lead.... MaBs very much dominant in all block-buster lists
