I saw a few posts over the last couple of days saying we would at least get some updates through any IQ's at end of month.

I can't see that any were actually asked in February - all of the last answers were from Jan 31st questions, so unless these were answered in February due to the date of their submission, there is nothing to be updated on there?

Hopefully we will get some proper news this week on the side-track.

Is it not possible that they also have a long position and this short is just to mitigate some of the risk until the ST result is confirmed?

If a success, there will be plenty of volume to be able to close the short, likely still in the money, and they can still benefit from their long position too.

It is not trolling to point out that both of these updates will be bad for the SP.

One was perhaps expected, but the market will surely make use the other to drop the SP today more than the rise yesterday. We'll see, of course

And where is the news on Italy?
You cannot argue that Comms here are not poor.
Plenty in the pipeline, so plenty of potential, but delivery needed to steady market jitters.

Wins and cashflow are needed for the SP to rise. Several good wins too.

Not that it should be relevant or an indicator, but the last 2 Deeside updates landed on 1st September and 1st December, both at 7am, so tomorrow pre- open is likely .
I feel we should get a Deeside update at the very minimum given the long stop date was today, but hoping for Italy confirmation too.
Like many, still down, but a good day here even if we have been guessing why. Great volume too over the last 4 trading days, although some more 100m+ days would be welcome

Given that today is the long-stop day for Deeside, presumably we will see news today (tomorrow at the latest) with an update?
Hopefully, any RNS will include an update to confirm re: to Italy, although it would be disappointing if they are trying to use Italy (success) as a possible foil for any potential further delays at Deeside.
On the whole, I am positive for 2023, but Deeside is proving to be a bit of an albatross for EQT, and certainly for how the market seems to perceive things here currently

No, the 3 companies have already been announced as Europa Oil & Gas , Poolbeg Pharma and Ur-Energy.

Others will have a different view, but it is not material information in that they have already published several schedules, and updated the last one to suggest Friday was the expected date for TD.
So, a tweet to say they have achieved what they had previously published was a target to happen is just normal news.

If there was a serious delay, a major problem, or they had failed, then an RNS would be the appropriate method of communication as this would be material.

In this instance, imo, a tweet is ok.

Tweets are now considered to be news in the public domain unless sent to a private group (as Woodford got a slapped wrist for doing with his funds)

Talks with parties on their product does not necessarily mean there is a product to sell. Yet
They may be discussing a deal for when it is ready and the timescale is unknown, or they may be discussing how to tailor the product specifically for different parties' requirements. Lots of possibilities.

As an example, one share I hold signed an off-take agreement in August 2020 for delivery of their product, but delivery did not commence until a little over 2 years later.

Not expecting an RNS on Monday, but hoped we would see a tweet on Friday, or over the weekend to confirm TD reached.
Perhaps they prefer to await successful completion of the next stage (6) before providing any update.
Given past issues, would not be surprised if they did this.
Whatever, this coming week is a key week for ANGS in terms of the side track and the companies' credibility (which has taken far too many knocks already and for many the jury is still out on this), and future prospects (financing/funding and projects).
Hoping for a good week here, trading volumes should pick in anticipation of news

I am in Jupiter too.
I did not think their results were that great tbh, but shoots of recovery with inflows up in last 3 months of financial year and YTD.
A good rise there does seem to be the reason for the rise here, imo.

Everyone said yesterday that Kintbury were rushing to close their short, but according to the LSE register, they're position as at close yesterday was exactly the same as it has been since the position was first taken in.
So, they have not made any move (yet) to close their position as positions are reported daily.
Let's see if that changes today though
