Clear and obvious error, but Stop losses would not have been triggered.

I have started to top slice my small cap stocks and I tend not to add back now when I have sold.
This is mostly due to getting stung elsewhere and being more cautious with regard to taking profits when I hit certain levels, and maintaining strict portfolio weights. I'm not greedy and happy to leave profits for others when I have taken some of mine.

What people dislike about trading are those that clearly ramp the carp out of a share in order to get their % gain, and then flip to deramp to look for a lower price (despite what they post having zero impact on the SP).
These posters are easy to spot and I just ignore or filter as their agendas are clear.

Having said all this, as posted before, I am not at target weight here, and do not want to increase my average, so holding and waiting for news. I may take some profit on funding news but only at a certain level.

Everyone has different strategies, time horizons, risk appetite, etc, so will all act differently with their investments, despite some thinking that everyone should think and act like they do (even II's !!).
It takes all types to make a market after all.

This board is pretty decent (so far) compared to many. Hopefully, that will continue

I think the market will certainly start to get a little jittery if we do not see a twitter update, or RNS in the next 10 days.

I fully expect to see something in that time, but volume dropped off yesterday after the long weekend and it is inevitable that we will see a dip here the longer the wait for news is.

There's a horse called 'Any Second Now' due to run in the Grand National on Saturday. It would be an apt option for many of the ever hopeful gamblers on these boards impatiently waiting for that big RNS :-)

It may not be an indicator, but the last RNS (04/04) relating to the Director remuneration in shares also gave an extension to the participation in the Broker Option with an end date of cob on 21 April.

It is likely, imo, that this date is before the release of the FY results as anyone looking to participate after the FY results release would then be privy to previously unreleased information that existing participants will not when they subscribed. An unfair situation.
Just a thought, maybe wide of the mark on this. So, 24th onwards then for FY results?

There is nothing on the company website about any potential release date, but they have updated their website today with a response to the recent Government's energy security plan. For anyone who has not seen it....

The required timeline is 4 months from the end of year, so it could be any time before 30th April.
Last year they were published on the last Monday in April (25th), so probably why the 24th is showing as the expected date.
Not sure the company has indicated a date though?
It would be useful to get some news beforehand, but at least we should see a comprehensive update on projects within the next 3 weeks.

I think most rational investors expect there to be dips, even en route to expected news and in periods of no news.

Equally, most rational investors do not expect this to jump many multiples, even when news is expected, or have unrealistic expectations of MCAP even on news.

There are different valuation metrics to use for companies like KOD, and many will also not be surprised if these do not apply as no one company is the same, markets are not rational and outside factors always come into play.

From the posting here today it seems like it is time to take a break from reading this board, enjoy the long weekend and await news.

Agree, likely a Sell given the mid-price at the time of execution was a little higher.

TBH, not really that important. Unless there is a run of similar sized trades that suggest a large order is being processed, volume is a much more important indicator, imo

Volume lower today, but good to close up, and a few delayed trades coming though of 4m and 300, as well as a 2m trade at the close.
Hard to tell the true direction as both the larger trades right on the mid, and the smaller one just below the mid at the time, so perhaps a sell? Not really important in the grand scheme of things.

Still no real sign of some newer and bigger fish taking positions, but let's see what tomorrow brings. Confirmation of flow rates and the cash projections that brings may change that, whenever that may be.

The Director sell yesterday (a tiny position of his total holding) did not cause the market panic that the bitter clown suggested it would. Strange that!

If something has been 'pre-logged' I am pretty certain that it will not even be visible on the official London Stock Exchange site until it has been released to the market. The RNS system is a secure password controlled electronic system and the whole point of it is that the 'news' is released to the whole market at the same time, not given as a heads up to the official LSE, MM's, etc before it is officially released, in line with Market Abuse rules.

Although it is possible to log something with a pre-timed future release date (e.g. 7am), the only way someone can know one has been logged is if they are party to the process (e.g. someone within the company preparing the news release, or the service provider that publishes their RNS releases), or if they have been told by someone involved in the chain of the process. Happy to be proved wrong on this (not the usual code 1, or MM's in the know claims).

GavinM claims there is a website where these are clearly visible 'if you know where to look' but he has never divulged where this is. I highly doubt this is true as others would have found it too.

I still call BS. The (very few) times he may been right have been when something is expected anyway and he usually never says what is coming, so if something does arrive he can claim to be right.
If we get nothing he can just claim that the 'logged' RNS was held back for some changes, or some other plausible (to some) excuse, such as something else is due to be released, or he will simply not post for a while.

But, you do not 'log' an RNS at 11am (as claimed here) and then not release it straight away as the detail would already have been signed off and there would be no reason to log it and not send it.
And why would they 'log' an RNS at 11am for release at 7am the next day, or after market close? It makes no sense unless someone who needs to sign off the wording is only available at a certain time (really stretching things though).

The Shell acquisition of ANGS 'lock, stock' on a successful side track was a big claim from GavinM. Let's see how that plays out - I am sure they would not be remotely interested in Brockham, Balcome, Lidsey, for example, only SFB.

Still highly sceptical of the 'logged RNS' claims without proof (which could potentially give someone away, so unlikely to be forthcoming).
Just my take, others will have their own view, and some will believe no matter what.

This must be the Shell buy out of ANGS "lock stock and barrel on the "completion" of a successful sidetrack at SFY" that GavinM told us was going to happen on a successful side track back in November which he told us all to bookmark.

He also told us on 24th March that the SP would be 4.15p by the end of March and added "Suspect by now some have worked out that I "know" what I'm talking about".

Ever the cynic, I'm ready with my large slice of humble pie and my finger hovering over the Sell button for when the Shell buyout deal is confirmed.

We still have still not seen any warrant exercise RNS that this moron was confidently telling everyone were being sold under his previous ID even when the SP was below the exercise price, and this director sell is clear one-off for personal reasons.

What will we see first today, market open or the disappearance of this latest ID ?

You'll need to get in touch with your provider(s) and let them know.
They will need to take action to correct the position, not sure the process or if you can choose what action, it might be last action that took you over the limit has to be sold.
I think they will do it all for you, you just let them know when the oversubscription occurred.
There may be some costs for trading or they may waive if you are lucky.
Good luck. It can be a complicated process at their end to make good with interest and any gain or loss on the extra investment.
Hopefully it won't mean a delay for you to invest in the new tax year

Surprised to see another double digit move again today, but higher volumes after this latest news than after the RNS yesterday.

Directors, large individual shareholders, etc sell shares all of the time for tax purposes.

Not sure why you would necessarily discount weekend days for getting things done.
Deals are often completed over weekends where small issues can be ironed out and all the relative parties (Directors, lawyers, etc) can be available to sign off.
One of my other companies just closed out a large deal on April 1st (Saturday) and announced to the market yesterday.
The only thing that will not occur on a non-business day will be an RNS release to confirm anything.

It is typical ANGS that I had a hat trick of bumper RNS on 3 different AIM stocks yesterday, with here being by far the best and most cash generative, and yet this rose by the least.
I have sad that usual valuation metrics do not really apply here, nor can comparisons be made with other companies as to potential, yet we are still seeing some very optimistic SP targets. 9p???
Yes, I did think this would break 2p yesterday, and it still may do this week, or next when confirmed figures are released, but without the cash being reinvested in other cash generative areas, I still do not see a rise much higher than the low to mid 2's in the short term wit any higher rises in the longer term reliant on further successes which we know take more time and money here than we are always led to believe.
As ever, I hope to be proved wrong, just managing my own expectations here.
I will likely sell half my holding on the next release relating to SFB flow rates. or the lot if it exceeds my expectations.
