Seems odd that they highlight the SP (MCAP) as 40% higher than similar companies, but try and justify that their high salaries are based on potential not reflected in the SP. Seems contradictory. Isn't it more likely based o the current SP/MCAP that potential IS reflected in the SP when compared to their peers?

News about planned move into India also announced, possible after hours yesterday?

That was my line of thought for the reasons behind the ASX listing, strong interest in mining over there.

All alluded to in the original RBS from 24/02/2023 (I should have read back before my original post), so I do now see the benefit of the ASX listing, and likely more important than the U.S. listing certainly in terms of shareholder base

I would post the source page if you want to share something that strikes you as a concern.

Just because a broker, or someone marks them as a 'Strong Sell' does not mean there is a cash problem. The deal funds may be held in escrow, or ring-fenced pending completion.

Agree on the mcap, liquidity constraints that will hamper some fund investment here currently.

I'm sure some additional Director investment (direct investment rather than awarded shares) would not go amiss either when it comes to Fund involvement as this is a criteria for some small cap funds.

Will see in time what happens with the listing and if it helps to open more doors

Not generally convinced that an additional listing makes a huge difference as volumes tend to be low from past experience of similar.

Surely larger investors would still look at the main listing for investment, so more likely it opens doors for other PI's who may be more constrained with investment jurisdiction?

Yes, so glad I held off selling a chunk of my non-ISA position at $225.

My revised target was $275, but seeing as this is pretty close now, and in quick time too, I will hold off again. I feel I will cave and take some profit if this reaches $300 soon though.

Wow. this just shows that I must be clueless then.

So, every single company from FTSE 100 down to AIM (there are chat boards for all of them) only get funding because of posters on chat boards, despite the majority of placings being closed to the very PI's who participate on these boards (and the multitude of other sources of funding that are available depending on the growth stage of any company). Sound logic there. So dumb of me to not see this before.

And the MM's check chat boards and move the SP depending on what posters say. Presumably all PI's must disclose to their provider that they have read a chat board before they are permitted to invest and the MM's will then move the SP accordingly? I must have missed that in the T's and C's when signing up.

I worked in Finance for almost 30 years and never knew this was how markets, or listed companies worked. All that time spent working with Fund Managers, Dealers, Analysts, Compliance, Brokers, FCA, etc and all for nothing. Silly me.

How do Pension funds, II's HNWI's, etc get around the 'Joey rules of investment', I wonder? Must be something dodgy.

Worth a try, martinu, although not sure they would add a Q with that tone (understandable as it is).

This is a big opportunity for the bod to take on board the feelings of their shareholders.

I have detailed my submitted Q on here ,as have others, let's see if they do actually understand what their shareholders are feeling, or just come up with a sanitised version of the truth to continue the company mantra which is clearly out of step with the reality.

Long suffering shareholders want to see progress, delivery and some honesty.

Delays are not unusual, but sweeping things under the carpet and giving the impression a lot is going on but with little to actually back it up is a real turn off.

I hazard that most investors here feel they have no real choice but to hold given the paper losses most must be sitting on, not a good look for a company that believes is has a strong future in this space.

Have added some more today from profits taken elsewhere.

Prefer to be holding in a company producing and with good prospects for further growth than one in exploration and facing too many unknowns in the current economic climate.

I would have liked sub-40 to add, but my average has at least come down from 62 to 54.

They are more interested in MCAP than price.

Typically they will have a circa 100m MCAP restriction. They may be allowed to buy lower, but only for a smaller % of portfolio size.

Some may have a smaller MCAP level, particularly specialist small cap funds/investors.

Increasing the MCAP will attract larger investors. Price is immaterial (although obviously linked to MCAP)

Edit, according to the 12/08/2020 RNS, 'We are pleased to have signed this agreement with Shell Energy which will cover all of the gas produced from Saltfleetby'.

I wonder why no mention who the fellow operator is, or the names of the 2 industrial customers. Or wht this was only RNS'd after the event. Interesting development perhaps in terms of future possibilities, or nothing to get excited about?

I can't remember the terms of the Shell off-take agreement, is there scope for an additional off-take agreement to a third party over and above a certain production level perhaps?

I have now filtered Lav along with Daz and merc.

Too much ego from them all and more intent on trolling than anything else. Sad to see.

For me, this board is one to avoid for anything useful for now, until such time we get the RNS to either confirm funding, or acknowledge a further extension. 50/50 on that for me at this time.

Planned maintenance, I think, rather than for the permanent pipeline.

They did say 'late Summer; for the permanent pipeline (02/05 RNS) unless it has been updated since, which is open to a wide interpretation as to a timescale, but I suspect it will be some time in Q3.

Improving prices a plus, good call to do this maintenance at a time when prices are historically lower. Hopefully any future outages will be for a shorter time period, perhaps this shutdown was for longer than anticipated?

Wanted to add some more at anything under 35p, but my AIM exposure is already higher than I prefer and hoped for profits form elsewhere have not materialised to ease that.
