Doh! Early Q1, not Q5

I think we will see a rise, but nothing significant yet.

Plenty of milestones still to be hit over the next 12-15 months ahead of planned production in 2027 as well as financing to arrange in the near future, perhaps late Q4 or early Q5. Amount and terms will be interesting and financial climate improving so a good deal maybe possible on this.

Will continue to hold, happy with progress to date.

More likely it is a limit order and is being dealt automatically throughout the day to ensure a particular % of adv is maintained as good market practice by the dealer

Good to see this coming to a conclusion. It seems bizarre that after extending the long stop date once it was then decided that a further extension was not needed and then a new one has been put in place for a couple of days.

Drawing a line under this expensive debacle and (hopefully imo) looking at no further projects in the UK will be a step forward.

Still disappointing not to see updates elsewhere.

Let's see if this rise holds and if this is the start of some upward traction with the SP. A long way for many to break even here, but it has to start somewhere.

Whilst the details appears positive, disappointing that no mention is made of the FY accounts and the ongoing delay, or the expected length of time for the share suspension

She called something right around 3 years ago yet some still protest she knows the company and has knowledge of what is going on. Wrong more often than right yet a credible source.

Even the company saying to expect news by month end proved to be false

Why is everyone saying they are leaving it to the last minute?

We have been told 'on or around 31 August'. This generally means that 31 August is the target completion date but that it may be later if they are unable to complete all aspects by that date and a further extension is required.

It is highly unlikely that it will complete before this date, imo, and there is no reason to provide any update unless there is a material delay to completion, or the proposed transaction collapses, something which I am sure the nervous posters would prefer not to see.

Yes, it has been a long wait, but in the grand scheme of things, 3 weeks is not a lot of time to wait now.

as for the pipeline, that was long before the strategy change towards smaller projects.

you can discount anything uk based as i have said many times before there is simply not the will.

any potential order book will be much smaller, growth will take longer as a result.

we will not be 5x higher with logik settling and talking of a 10p sp is just fanciful at this stage.

the old model is immaterial given the change in focus. we need a detailed operational plan to properly guage potential.

perhaps the logik money can be the catalyst for a step forward, but management needs to come out with a realistic plan for shareholders to get behind. talk has been getting us nowhere for too long

Correct Simms, the company having the ability to raise shares does not mean they will do.

It is good business practice and very normal.

As you say, it should be viewed as an insurance policy and allows the company to raise quickly if needed for any multitude of purposes, not just keeping the lights on, or paying management salaries as some will try and suggest.

I can't see who else is in this thread, but as I have green boxed them, no doubt it is false and misleading or knocking the company for he sake of it

I agree that the suspension could be a blessing with regard to the recent decline in SP, and in the unlikely event that they can announce funding during this time then the SP could reopen with a lift.

Timescale is probably not sufficient for this to happen though.

Last year, the accounts were filed 3 days late and the suspension lifted 4 days after that, so potentially we are looking at a week of suspension if the results are close to submission.

It is possible as HarChris has stated that a condition of funding could be to offload the Mozambique assets, hopefully Shishir does not let his pride, or ego get in the way of what is best for the long term and to restore some faith amongst his shareholders

I have been relatively vocal in my support for keeping the status quo here during the vote process as well as supporting the company by adding shares despite still having a relatively high average.

I do still feel the vote was the right decision, but will no longer be vocal in the support of management.

Post-vote was a chance to show change was being taken seriously, sort out the debt, finance arrangements and move forward with production.

This is critical now and needs swift resolution

Yes, very disappointing update, especially for those who put their support behind Shishir at the vote.

Was hoping the FY results and finance/production update would see a corner being turned by the company, but another suspension tomorrow for non-production of FY results looks inevitable now.

It was not an RNS, it was a Reach notification. I don't think LSE picks these up.

No automatic 7am RNS on the deadline day for FY results is not a good sign, sadly.

It's common practice to release results on the last day of the required due date, not just a TGR thing.

Let's see what comes at 7am tomorrow before jumping to judge.

Given that Angus have told us to expect news at the end of July in respect of Brockham it's hardly great foresight or 'in the know ' status to tweet suggesting news will come next week.

News other than what is already expected is a different matter.

Let's hope mgmt have been working hard and come up with some answers on finance/debt management and future growth plans.

Ignoring the SP performance, this has been a year to forget and Shishir needs to restore some trust and the 'new' regime has to start to deliver starting with a strong financial message

I sincerely hope that ANGS are not looking at any Oil related operation for it's proposed organic and inorganic growth outside what is already owned, and of these my preference would be to get shot of them all as the cost of drilling/developing is not worth the return.

Gas and/or storage is the only way to possibly generate anything meaningful here now, imo

I think the company has to officially announce if they are buying their own shares for any reason, i.e. any type of share buyback.

There is usually a reserve of shares over the confirmed issued shares that they would use for any warrants, placing, etc.

The company will have the ability to issue new shares up to a known amount and then can request the ability to raise more if needed via AGM or EGM
