PR = marketing.Marketing makes the business (and consumer ) world go round. Marketing not only builds companies but also sustains and grows them-in almost every field. Trin had a spurt of marketing Sep/Oct last year.Share price rose 100% . Share price now sagged 50% to a value less than 12 months ago. Sadly it is the way of the world. Consumer societies were built on it and are underpinned by marketing and branding.About 75% of US GDP is based on consumer spending! ( far less here). Businesses also need to sell and 'brand' themselves . No marketing = low profile. Low profile= low investor interest. Private and also institutional.Marketing is PR. It is a sad necessity....a necessary evil. Good financial management makes for a good company. It is the case here. Good marketing then attracts new investors. They don't seem to be here. Quid pro quo. So I am agreeing publicly with you.

I do take your point re. manipulation and corruption. It's the former that is keeping us at16p. I don't have an answer for that. I know it is actively suppressed. But when its profits and nil debt become public the it becomes a very very attractive investment.,...especially at 15.8p. And MM's cannot stop buyers!! The share has its own energy. But it's up to us if we want to wait for that or not. I'd rather be invested here than most FTSE companies.

If you are fed up with not reaching what you want then sell and stick in a deposit account and watch it dissolve.I could reel off 10-15 companies that I held for over a year and got frustrated with. I dold. I would be a multimillionaire if I'd held. Every single bloody company ...except Petropavlovsk..spit! The expectations are in you and not anyone else. No rampers now. If you are fed up then sell at 18p. It hit 18p 2 weeks ago ( I sold some at 17.8p) . Make your 12.5% profit and forget it for ever and never ever look at it ever again. Or sell some. But we each have to decide for ourselves. If you think it is a 16p share then put money elsewhere. I know it's not so I'm waiting so that I can one day put a deposit on a house for my kids. Not a pipe-dream. Reality.Those other shares taught me that. Make your own mind up and do what's right for you. You know whatI think. I'm with Spellbrook/ GO/Weissy/Confounded/Mhow and the good chap I offended 4 months ago who barely posts. I have never been invested in a sharper company . It was sh** before.

I sold another share at a loss to buy up Trin today. Wasn't easy...it hurt. But I think/ hope it'll pay off as I bought shedloads at 15.35p.Burn out not fade away. But know thyself and know thy company ( taking into account that the market is corrupt and most times manipulative of course!)

Remember me ( and a few others ) who didn't join the " this will fly " group. I remember being consistently shot down for it. I was right though. The over-optimists are long gone. Very sensible people now hold this share. Not fallen out with anyone for ages!!! Not that I miss a certain individual! I ask you to trust in the same way you trusted 2 yrs ago to buy more. This is 100% not a 16p share. It is being bought up very cleverly atm.You should read Whitman Howard's report .34p recommended buy price-now!! Their most under-rated share!! You are bading your judgment on the last 14 months. Debt has been the overhang. Ss Spellbrook says...no debt soon/ oil almost double the price/ increasing production. I am a battle-scarred and wearied investor. But I make it my business to know what I invest in. You can believe this is a 16p share if u want. You will be pleasantly surprised. I know more than I can tell you here. Patience required but also looking at the facts and understanding the relationship between govt debt and Contract for Loan Notes / share option. Bopd and WTI prospects due to shale/India/Lack of exploration in rising demand and shedloads of other factors. I bit my steel balls today and dunked very deeply. You can do what you like.... but if you sell ..."don't look back in anger"

I think the correction is long long overdue. Especially US indices IMO. But FTSE follows. I support your ftse shorts. Correction long long overdue. Shame if oil drops with it though but supply / demand is very complex. And collapse of shale if interest rates rise is no bad thing for oil price. BTW someone dropped a stonking half million sell today. Ouch.

You are not wrong. I feel the dip is an engineered buying opportunity. It'll show up at some stage.

I too have confidence in this company.Very very tightly run indeed.. All my shares are down as well.Sitting on very large red figure. I recommend sticking here. I just sold at a loss to increase my holding here. this is a silly price. either someone has sold a very large amount and MM's are dumping (very possible indeed0....or someone wishes to buy at a low price.I have no idea which.

In the same minute I bought at 15.33 there was a buy/ sell of 127K shares on NEX at 15.75. Don't get the action here at all.

Well done.I join you. 15.33 and 15.36. As usual I bought too early yesterday.I am very curious as to why the big drop. One sell of 100k shares does not warrant it.

I agree.The efforts they are making to suppress this price are a joke !!! It was higher a year ago !! The company is far stronger now. I think they have an agenda.

I managed a 15.74 buy yesterday as the Mm's accommodated a friend also buying . A 2 minute window. Total racketeering. I think they may be planning same today. IMO stuff going on behind scenesI hate conspiracists and I have become one.

Couldn't agree more with just about all you say. My feeling is that the share incentives were probably advised by the new bunch who are IMO quite essential.They can turn this thing around. I am pleased by your optimism as it heartens me. The SP is of course the only thing that interest me too...especially as no dividend. Sitting on a 65% loss on a large amount is painful and has opportunistic cost . i wait as usual with baited breath. I hope you are well.

Btw. Those who are saying Trin IS a 16p share are talking out of their deep-sea drilling rigs. There is such drivel spoken/written by those who don't know a thing about the company or the nature of the commodity environment. It's tosh. They should Whitman H's full report or just look at peer valuation. Btw a takeover in 1 or 2 yrs may become distinct poss. as debt evaporates.But only at a stonkingly higher price we are told.

Your opinion is not wrong. That is precisely what BD daid at tge presentation in London in September. And it actually reiterates that in their longer term plan RNS in October ( I think October). But TGAL is 2019 or even later stuff. Their aim is to pipe it tgrough Trientes which is close to land. SPT is the problem though. Offshore is about $12-16 more expensive breakeven than onshore....even in the shallow waters of T and T. Onshore drilling to maximise cheap oil. Pay off BIR/MEEI and then. CLN asap. Prevent share dilution ( directors have share options which depend on this). They are not all as well-off as BD and one local in particular deserves his options to mature. Debt first. Expansion only with stable oil price and when Imbert has resigned( the latter is my warped humour). Politics is the art of subtle deception ! No divvy because of expansion. Who cares. Their business plan is designed on an annual basis. 2019 in my opinion will see a different share price and great changes. And the oil press may have worked out that the Tooth Fairy isn't real and that oil exploration is a real problem!! But anyway..at least I know Santa's not a myth. Phew...

I have an order in sub 16p too. Don't think I'll see it fulfilled though. But you never know.Mm's will drop Trin up to a penny in order to fulfil a buyer. Very very common and quick as a flash....tgen the window gone. Sleazy lot.
