Trin have told me they will be ''fair'' in scaling back and I am told it is usually done via %. but iI guess it is a given that it'll be over subscribed. but why not buy back cheaper if it goes down with what you have left? Can't buy cheap now. Have funds to subscribe.question is that as you say-MM's have it sussed and pre-empted.No point buying now. Little point buying at above 16p if it just sits there post placing. HMM.........popeye got it right......just gonna sit . thinking about this done me in.
Was in Glen this morning.Should've left it in Trin.Would've profited more.

This is a real learning experience all along the way. learning how the market negotiates and analyses and controls.Painful too at times. I tailswallowed this morning DOH..(Oh...and anyone else in Glencore? ;-/. double DOH.)

didn't expect 17.4 to sell so early before EGM though. Have no idea what'll happen post EGM tbh. A real case of not a clue. market mayhem all round on my side of court.

Short-term this is a no-knower. I'm with SS. I think we could see 16p or under but this could be supported by demand. Ultimately all the logic applied by GO ...and of course the figure...are right. Short-term....who da f...knows.....but we can work on probabilities can't we. There is still huge demand. MM's will know this. they don't give shares away. i am likely to lose out on subscription as it will doubtlessly be oversubscribed so tail swallowing was probably ass- swallowing. But ya takes ya chances.Known demand underpins price. Oil or shares. I have said that i don't see this going near to 15p as ii's underpin the Placing. Ultimately...I never ever ever know. Neither does anyone else. But I think it unlikely.To me probability is 15.75p at 8:00 and 5 secs on 12th july.
then again this may be wholly off the mark.
Oh the beauty and truth of the reality of not knowing the answer to things. The human condition..A lesson in life for some (me at least)

Good move to look long term and to turn off after EGM. I’m a bit battle weary having been through the resurrection from the dead. Just want some stability myself. On a personal basis I really didn’t need this Placing. I know the facts. Just appalling timing for me personally . I was aiming to realize some funds . Best laid plans eh? House down the tube. It’s just personal individual circumstances. Been here 5 yrs. waited long enough. I would bery much likecto switch off too!!

You not alone. If u knew my share story it reads like Amityville. But Trinity did pull through even if others didn’t. No point me saying how much I have lost- horrifying. Ine of the reasons I hate shorters is being a victim myself. And there are companies who will blatantly lie to you as a shareholder in order to fleece you. I know this only too well. Trin is not like this. But I am wary too. We have been through enough. I don’t like the presence of shorters. They manipulate...particularly vulnerable shares. This may or may not happen here. No idea. I hold 8 times what you do and I know other p/i’s who hold much more. This is an unsettling time but it could not be run by a more efficient team. Their weakness is that they don’t follow or seem to understand the AIM marketplace. BD admitted it himself last year and described AIM as short-sighted. It is. And it is hugely manipulated too. Trinity deserves a better home tbh. You seem to be in a fairly strong position no matter what. I know others who are jittery. I am myself. Company could not be more sound.....and debt-free. But what terrible timing!!!

If it is done by % it will depend on who applies for how many.no...it won't go very far either way though..

on your application amount. They cannot know how many shares you hold. They therefore will gove you a % of what has been paid for-according to my broker anyway.

I’m disappointed in 2m shares. High private holders above thresholds were offered placing shares. 10 million shares is a meagre portion of the 100 million shares on offer. Trin has many private holders. I can see this hugely iversubscribed. I hold a large amount of shares but that’s not of f benefit in a Placing unless you are contacted and offered!!

% of application is way they usually adjust applied amount. Rather than a fixed number per applicant. I'm feeling sorry for my finances too at the moment.looking very weak. applied for shares i will not get. that'll be a shame as I tail-swallowed and could end up losing money. But...hey.....yer takes yer chances eh? A lot of unknowns here.
i think -as you say- that we may get some info. I think they have decided to keep onshore asset in order to increase bbbls.my view. I think they have a few things we don't know about.
This will IMO DEFINITELY be oversubscribed so i don't expect to get what i have tailswallowed. Shorting is interesting....implies they aim to drive it down to a cheaper price to buy back. Seen it many times before. Many many times.low volume AIM shares particularly vulnerable. I detest shorters. They are legal and permitted but to me are low life. i have seen them destroy valid companies. It won't happen here.....but it's fuelled my hatred.
If post-placing goes sub 15p that'll be a joke.i've sen it happen ..often......but it'd take the pi** out of the company.Fact the institutions are placed here may prevent this though.Institutions are the solid ground beneath a company's investment feet.

seems some are viewing a post EGM drop then.To keep pari passu with Placing price (or close). I have a personal hatred for shorters but it should be directed at a government which allows it (unlike some others in Europe..notably Germany).
Next Thurs. nothing to look forward to s/p'wise then...apart from beginning of new chapter in debt-free zone for company.
sigh...I have really begun to hate the nature of shares..and all it entails.

EPG oil market update. Very very interesting indeed.A''must listen'' for anyone interested in gauging the direction of oil and oil stocks ! Thanks! If Trin manage to get new ''in country'' acquisitions pumping or T and T revamp their fiscal regime then the next 6-12 months could be very interesting.( Equally disturbing to hear opinion on Venezuela. I met refugee family in Texas 4 yrs ago......and their stories horrifying. Much worse now. V. sad.)
But we can't affect that.
Their oil disruption and Iran's sanctions are feeding the upside here and don't have a positive outlook at all. So WTI looking to remain strong. And I've NEVER known a market in oil or anything else NOT overshoot.

I hear you as well. I hold firmly to the fact they managed to tame ruthless Citibank back in 2016. I have spoken to BOD face to face about this. I am relieved I am no longervpenniless. But I have lost 40% of the value of my holding in 6 weeks and tge timing was atrocious and modus operandi appallingly insensitive. The new money is essentially indirectly from shareholders and as such is a milking. New buyers are happy as Larry. Faithful holders are the fatted calf. I am at fault for buying too early . I did indeed keep enough cash aside but did not expect this.Can’t beat myself up for not having cash....just used it before the guillotine was dropped! My faith in Trin is severely dented . Yes ...back from the dead. But by G** I did not expect this after all the previous Hell we had to suffer. It was 16p a year ago. Ok....no debt. A huge huge difference. Sadly after nearly 5 yrs of holding I am still sitting on a loss.Having bought at 2-3p with all that that involved...still on a loss(?) No...not their finest hour by any means. I do not disregard the new liberty and strength of the prospects. But I/we have paid for this financially...it has come from us . Not directors or CLN holders. They will reap rewards. WTI well over $74 now. Yes undersupplied and little supplier cohesion regardless of what is released to the Press. Still not happy about way this done as caught us minnows out. We are only permitted 10m shares ( worth less rhan 2million quids). Prob only be allocated about £5k each . Hope am wrong and happy if I am. Had no idea that certain Directors were also CLN holders. No lose no lose eh? Damn the cynic in me!! Hope it’s misguided for once. If I had the dosh I would certainly join you in buying more Trin though. Bloody steal at 15.6p.
