Hey GO. I've kicked ass alright. But I won't shoot the messenger.The customer service at H/L is faultless. Almost unconditionally. Great bunch.Corporate actions need forced enemas . they do not yet even know about the 10K max.....and they have received all the money. WTF ??? I had to refer them to Walbrook/RNS/ Trin website. WTFF??
They are supposed to be allocating it and haven't even started and don't know anything about the 10K max.
(I'm almost as blown away by this as by HSBC who are getting a loaded North Korean Hwasong launched at an internal target ...with venom). I can't yet believe that corporate actions are about to allocate (when they should've started already) and can't of course because they don't know the terms.

H/L have completely reversed what they said yesterday re. allocation. They have the shares but they will not be allocated until tomorrow. but now reversed categorically agreed decision re. designated accounts vs. per shareholder. Just give up. As if HSBC were not enough. Incompetence rules.

PS boxing hasn't died. just has enclaves (Northampton...east london...Luton) it is a great sport but its reality should be recognised. you have to know what you are doing to use it for self defence or you will likely be crippled.(hand)

Had the most incredible few days really....not only trying to get sense of this allocation...which I may be able to help others with ..maybe.( Apart from working a little yesterday...spent 27 hrs on phone to HSBC since Thurs...no exaggeration.....re. the most appalling unprofessional antics and behaviour re. mortgage that I have ever experienced in my long long life. FOS / Information Commission office and my MP already primed for action. Irrelevant to you all but I sit here in abject shock.........sorry to digress !!...just shocked ...thought i'd experienced as bad as it can get in finance.,,think again.phew..sorry again to totally digress.What a few days. Totally irrelevant to you guys...sorry)
45 mins on phone to Link. Very clued in and professional company.They release the shares in 2 tranches tomorrow. One set in morning and one in afternoon.First £10K approved as we know ( spent 2 hrs on phone to H/L who didn't know what was going on and I had to explain it to them. OK . Fair enough.They may take up to 2 days to process what comes their way.All very very pleasant people but even corporate actions dept. didn't know what was happening re. Trin even though RNS published 5 hrs previously) But...categorically...according to both Link and H/L ....it is £10K PER designated account. i.e.1) ISA 2)SIPP 3)unwrapped shares. Shareholdings are allocated as separately designated accounts. Money is sent and received in one big lump sum but in separate designated accounts. So...unless they (Link and H/L) have screwed up as badly as HSBC....each account will receive the allocated £10K. So it is not per shareholder as such. I have applied in 3 accounts.Now I am prepared to be met by incompetence again ....but corporate actions have categorically confirmed this (in a recorded call). V. important for some other shareholders perhaps.
So....you will get £10K SIPP / £10K ISA / £10 K share account if applied for. Remainder is set at 27% (0.2712635281 !!!!) of what is left over. All rather confusing and i am still very wary.But i hope i am not wasting your time by writing this.
DJ...I only took the risk with this in mind.I was initially told wrong info by Trin and the RNS is not clear either. Will Link and H/L both be wrong? We/I shall find out as things unfold ...slowly it seems.
Confounded...you are right. 27%. Sorry. Directors gave up some shares too it seems.I think that Trin have handled this fairly by taking the little investor(not me) into account.We are all stakeholders and this goes along with their way.Even if H/L are wrong re the accounts.....it is fair on the smallholder.

No ...not good. Just been onto Link.....OMG such non-clarity. Link very good though. All amounts above £10K will only receive 0.27 %. still unclear regarding ...per shareholder or per ''designated'' account. Link will not release shares until up to close of business tomorrow. not corproate action at its best I would say.H'L take up to 2 days to process. it's like waiting for refinancing all over again !!

So now we know. £10k fully allocated. All above amounts scaled back.Dealing starts at 8.00 but we ( H/L) will not have the shares. Scaling back has not been quantified.

This is in order to assist subscribers. I have contacted Link. They do not know when tomorrow that they will be issuing subscribed shares.....scaled back or not. Shareholders will not know at start of business. H/L say they also do not know. They receive shares in one block. They then manually allocate per shareholder which will take some time.Perhaps not even Thursday.
this is not to worry people....it is to clarify in order that holders on this board do not get wrong information or consider that they have received allocated shares already. They have not.

Please recognise that Hl have not allocated anything yet.I am in ongoing communication .They just rang me 15 mins ag.They don't know what the situation is yet (???) . Quite incredible.They are now having to call me tomorrow because they don't understand or know their own process. i'm not being unduly harsh.....I do find it rather poor for such a huge and efficient company. I don't know where I stand at all....and it seems others have been calling them today as well.Link are dealing with it.Shouldn't be too hard to find out should it??

h/L don't seem to know what they are doing. I've been communicating with them for 4 working days re. this. full share showing in account does nopt mean full allocation. they don't seenm to know wtf is going on with allocation. the corporate actions team say that they don't know how or when they will hear. Not good enough. I've been on phone again today and they are coming back to me as they do not know. I had to explain to them that Link Asset management are dealing with the allocation. I and they have no idea whether link or trin will inform them or when. I made it clear that if they knew before 8.00 a.m. Thursday and had not informed us as their nominee customer that that would be unacceptable. No response yet. I personally am surprised that anyone knows allocation yet as it has not even been approved at EGM.Very muddy waters here.if trading the new shares begins at 8.00 Thursday then how is it fair that shareholders do not know their number of allocated shares.
Pay no attention to number of shares showing in account. They have simply sent all the money to Trin who pass it to Link.

Have I got SPT wrong? I always assumed whether barrel price was $55 or $74 ( today) or $80 ( maybe Sep) that the % SPT per narrel remains constant ( 22% ave) as long as over discounted $54.4 threshold. Hence the beauty of $65 which negates SPT ave of 22% ( on and offshore together). Have I missed something? I don’t need to know “but every little helps” re. making sense of prospects. And to know if u got something wrong for 3 yrs!!!
