Joke.had there not been an RNS then we have to take it on the chin as oversubscribed....but £10K min is I feel because Link did not ask for individual shareholders and that's not how brokers seem to o operate unless asked. You guys got clarification yet?? If not.....appalling. Re. oil price...no...don't see collapse in any way. Collapses happen unexpectedly. Studied boom and bustas part of post-grad. The oil situation is volatile but that's because of all the game playing and media playing too. all it takes is a comment fromsaudi or a pipeline opening in Liblya etc etc and it's square one either way. supply/demand wins out eventually ...we are just seeing posturing. Collapse? No.Violent swings? Certainly. But we have to look at zero debt....potential (?!? fiscal reform and $30 barel breakeven. No problem. No debt is the greatest asset.

Oh no. You’re completely right. 4 times oversubscribed ( about). On average each person got one fourth of what they applied for. I should’ve said that. I just meant we ony got 28% of what ww asked for and didn’t get 72% of what we asked for. Yes without question 4 times oversubscribed Because that was pretty darned predictable at a discount to 15p then all the more shame on the system for screwing it.This was preventable but not enough care or interest was shown in order to prevent it. Nominee accounts may be” lazy” in submittingbone application and hence one shareholder. But they can’t be expected to know it’s likely to be oversubscribed. Corporate actions can’t follow opinions on share values. Yes they should never IMO apply as one “ shareholder” as that does not permit implementation of things like the RNS £10k. But in my opinion Link had a duty to request number of shareholdrrs applying for £-0k or above. And I know for a fact that they never did as they have admitted it. Shabby and shoddy.

Same as H/L. It is because Link did not ask them for individual shareholders. It is the common way nominee accounts apply unless asked ptgerwise. It is either the responsibility of almost all the nominee brokers having a lazy system or the fault of Link. This was clearly going to be oversubscribed!!!! 72% oversubscribed!!! Oh well

I have a formal complaint in with my broker. They promised me same. In many phone calls. It’s because they sent application off without giving numbers of applicants nor registering each applicant individually. Seems almost all brokers did this. Link did not revert to the broker after RNS andcdid not ask for individual accounts in the first place. H/L have an escalated high level complaint with Link. I have a complaint with H/L. Whoo to the merry -go-round. Sorry u not got money. How deeply unprofessional. I was promised £10k many times too!! You can put in a formal complaint. You were told rubbish like me

Link have said they never asked brokers for underlying shareholder base who applied for more than 10K.The brokers gave the application in pre-RNS of course. In order to implement the 10K minimum Link would have to know the number of applicants above 10K. They did not request this information from the brokers so how could anyone receive it?? To blame the brokers is ridiculous. It was an impossibility to give the shares out at 10K minimum if you don't get anough shares!! It would mean that those left over might 've not got anything or next to nothing. So the promise of 10K could never have been implemented in the first place as they only give to the broker the scaled-back number of shares applied for and cash left-overs.

i managed to buy my kids' back at 16.95p having sold at 15.5.....but then had a meeting...so missed out on mine. not buying at 18p hving sold mine at 15.7. Have to just leave it. i won't trust an RNS again though.

Thank you for kind message. To me it was about doing what is right. Sometimes (often) you have to fight for it. Exhausting yes. Worth it? Always. Life worth living..standing up for what’s right. Yup. Move on. Moving on is easier after someone says sorry or admits having screwed up. To err is human. But for goodness sake don’t point fingers at each other . It needs short but thorough analysis..admission of error by whomever and then recompense or no recompense. I just hot compensation from HSBC yesterday for 6 weeks of appalling errors snd rude behsbioir. All phone calls listened to and each of my complaints justified and upheld. I wasn’t doing it for compensation at any stsge. I wanted justice and responsibility admitted to...which many people tried to sidle out of. ( secured creditor who froze all Trin’s assets for 6 months). What they did shoukd never be forgotten even if all you lot except Confounded and Manaca weren’t here. They are a top notch and honourable company. Reputation bruised though. It’d help to own up or explain and move on . How could the brokers know when their applications had already been sent off and the RNS arrives afterwards. And they. don’t receive enpugh shares to fulfil tge £10k obligation ( so I am told)??? The only way round it is to fulfil the £10k obligation first by looking at individual clients and then scale back the rest to all holders afterwards. That would have been possible. In which case I will seek redress. They( H/L) will probably deny feasibility of this but I don’t see how it couldn’t be done!!!?!! Ultimately it was up to Link to organise and implement this from a faulty RNS. They all seem to have failed then.
