The problem is that SPT in the oil sector is such a cash cow for the govt with oil at $70.They would have to balance prospective Expl and Prod benefits from releasing more cash to explorers (inc Petrotrin even if govt. body)together with the reduction (if it is actually reduced) of the tax.as we both know....they played on the lack of PPT in the last budget. IMO they have not addressed SPT as it pays so well. We may actually see a completely new reform of the tax structure which connects tax directly with profit .....not at a 40 year old random threshold from the 70's.
i am not holding my breath. but if they wish to increase production (remember how much they import !!) then they will have to come up with something genuinely beneficial for companies who wish to increase production. not a half-hearted fiddle-about which changes nothing. Watch this space i guess.

I have bever seen Trin on a staff recruitment drive such as this before. In 5 yrs. I’ll try to stay level-headed and not project too much into it yet without evidence though. My son is a radio presenter in London. I’ll text him tonight. You cancalso look at hotels.com or Trivago. Good discounts and reliable. Many hotels are on London fringe and not as expensive as centrsl or Heathrow. They include parking. Tube is a doddle but gets frigging sardine-packed. I’m only 40 mins away from central London. Rush hour goes on until about 7.00 sometimes though :-(

Ex oil analyst. These 3 changed Trin’s fortunes around in 2016 after awful decisions before when others were involved ( all gone). Trin is nothing like it was. You will get a lot of info thrown at you and a sleek professional booklet. Canapes are great!!! I like the degree of informality . I think it should be a great experience. Driving?? Parking is nightmare. Tube not far away. Nick Walbrook ( PR) will meet u at door. You have to be registered. I think it is great you are going. Real experience and you’ll really get to know the company in great detail . It is waiting to explode but you’ll find out exactly how! Good for you. Doesn’t last too long ( hour or so).

I’ve always been here from the first day Trin was formed and I know and trust the present ( not previous) BOD personally. Great bunch of people. On the BB Always support investors. Occasionally this happens but they don’t usually pretend it never did. I support other.. Like I said honesty is a lovely trait when there. Dunder asked me my investment history and I answered the question honestly. Then it was non-stop sarcasm. Right up until last Friday.
When did bygones start...on Saturday?? This board was never about pulling people to pieces. It’s about supporting fellow investors with much to gain or lose. To do that you have to trust who you communicate with and not feel under threat of impending attack.

It was not a coincidence that I was suspended. this is a very good chatboard in the main. some of us (man@ca and myself including others) have been through a lot with trin. It is important to be supportive to other investors. so glad I got you to take a look here. you will not find a more honest company with better prospects..short..medium and especially long. I think so yes. It has moved a penny and a half. I think they were trying their luck to see who might buy. Settled now at 18.98 to buy and 18.55 to sell. Still unlikely to excite trades though I feel.

Was there last year. I do not expect a disappointment.
