I held Stob for many years up until 2014. In spite of rumours to the contrary it was a solid company and has expanded immensely. I note that it has very much become a “ traders” share with an immense number of trades. Such volatility. Never was the case. Sometimes I was the only trader!! I look at tge divvy and tgis looks very very much overdone. I bought in a tad too early at £1.71 and am feeling the pinch but that was a 14% drop I think. The response to the divvy seems in essence ( to me) grossly overdone. They have diverted their cash and not lost any!! Opec’s decision may have influenced drop buy oil is not up that much any more. Seems to me the 1.64 to £1.50 crash was AT manipulated . See no reason why this would ever get to £1. I was paying that in 2014!! I think MM’s have honed in on a slightly vulnerable target . As they do with nil stamp-duty shares like Glencore . Or tbh any share ( Clln/Capita/Tullow/Plus 500/PFC...list goes on. Flybe may not be relevant( or it may). Stob has more clout with more cash though.Stob started its dip before Flybe started to rise but maybe I’m picking. Cheaper fuel ( ?) As an oil investor I’m tuned in to this so maybe shouldn’t read too much in. Was invested here for many many yrars. Very different now. As is the market. Nursing a tidy loss but feel this does seem quite manipulated and overdone perhaps. It’ll hurt to drop further but been here before in many solid shares that rebound. I see no negative news in consolidating divvy cash. May not be popular but makes sense if they aim to solidify the balance sheet. Thanks for reading rather long post.

Missed your post. I know nothing of waterflood programs whatsoever. Trin considering using very new technology according to BD in Sep. See presentation. Acquisition? Anyone’s guess. They actually have one onshore well on the market but it’s profitable anyway. It’s all very quiet on the Western Front apart from Petrotrin’s 3 tanker sale at WTI + $2. IMO it’ll be 3-6 months before dust settles from latest supply/demand carnage and we know where we really stand. Hope less.

It’s still a top-notch company. With cash and assets and without anyone but the taxman to pay. Will be interesting to see how Heritage unfolds and whetger Trin have any short-term plans upbtheir sleeve with all that cash just sitting there.

I may be wrong but I feel there might be something going on. In the offing so to speak. Trin cannot waste Placing cash and it was never needed for onshore working capital. With things being so cheap right now what better time.? We’ll see.Trin has a habit of surprises- good and bad. Now their balance sheets are so robust I can’t see any bad surprises. Txp suffering badly due to balance sheet and Wti. Rrl on the rocks. Cerp seem ok now after capital raise. I can’t see BD not capitalising on the present situation. Ex Centrica....reverse t/o of Bayfield. Opportunist.

Very well said. I only wish there was a way to inform said to Mr. Imbert. I am glad you are hopeful. This tax is a hair jacket. It inflocts self-harm. I and so many others have said this for years. Never more applicable than now. I agree fully. Trin have done so well in 2018. 2019 to be its year. Now is a buyer’s paradise. It really is. Unbelievable . opportunity.

Oil is sold at hefty discount of 8% to WTI. Don’t see an issue. David I recommeend reading Whitman Howard’s recent detailed report regarding funding. Unlikely to be considered for long while and only regarding Tgal. I see no milking of investors. Been here 5 yrs. what’s holding Trin down is not these issues...it’s SPT and WTI and being a small independent in the torrent of oil stocks.

Hi. To me at the moment it is about how long wexstay at this level. The US has instigated this ( oil companies with huge hedges at $56 now paying off). And it suits Mr. Trump who doesn’t seem to give a **** about the rest of the world. It’s all been manipulated down here. Supply and demand manipulated alongside. Very devious. Now the question is how long can they keep it here. I say as long as they want. Like gold/ Libot/Eurobor...oil price is controlled. I hope I am wrong of cpurse but I don’t believe I am. SPT will not change IMO. All these people with their own agendas. Trin? No debt. Sub $30 b/e. Ride the storm,
