Wonder if it was the placing or open market?
Logic not built in very true.
Just curious, not planning to change my position or sell for a long time anyway.
You really think this will be 5p by Christmas ?
What’s the Billingham asset value exactly?
So I can only get a quote to buy £500 pounds worth of shares, can get a quote to sell £23000 pounds worth with no problems.
Arry,
What damage at this point about 2.5%, but lets face it the SP has been volatile for a while now, what part of the 2.5% would you attribute to the placing?
Regards
Yes the share price indeed has been severely impacted by the placings.
SP 1 year ago 5.85 pence
SP 2 years ago 2.95 pence
SP 3 years ago 2.5 pence
Where would JLP be without the placings done in the past, not to keep the lights on but to invest in projects?
Max,
There might be a bit of cynicism there but lets face it management is dammed if you do and dammed if you don't people asking for more info/interviews to prop up the share price as it is constantly falling, demanding updates on current projects etc.
Also nobody seems to be bothered about the additional tailings mentioned, which JPL are currently assessing.
The placing question will always get asked, what do you think Leon would have said a month ago he he was asked the same thing in an interview, and as someone else pointed out earlier on, what would have happened to the SP if he had said yes?
The placing today is specifically to increase ownership of projects and therefore future earnings, its not to keep the lights.
I guess DP should get it he phone and order the planning departments to approve planning permission, or call up a couple of billionaires and tell them they are going to be finance partners for these projects.
Maybe he should tell Agrigas to accelerate their timetables all because a couple of share holders are whining
Hi Jonah?
What’s you background and expertise that qualifies you to make this assertion?
sorry olddrongo but Tjate has been in the background for years.
Slater, Canaccord, Veddis and Jupiter don't seem to be focused on this subject, it's no big secret that Tjate has very little focus from JLP and from my part JLP have a significantly better and faster ROI focusing on tailings then they will ever get spending 10 years and billions developing a new mine.
The Tjate subject pops up occasionally, there are people who think it is a great idea to wait 10 years for a return, but I for one hope JLP never bother with it.
Just my opinion.
Well that feels better.
Days not ended yet stoodio, but yes it would be a nice end to the week.
Fingers crossed.
Main market listing would be good
What are the risks of a management buy out ?
Fishy I may take the same approach but I want to wait to see what dividends SLP are going to issue first
Nicetu,
The most dangerous person to a persons wealth is invariably that person, especially in the stock markets.
You invest on your own research, if you invest on what people say in an anonymous chat room, then you are just rolling dice.
Anyone who complains about loosing money on the back of advice taken from an anonymous chat board is in denial simple as.
Mikiesunday,
I was thinking exactly the same thing just before lunch
