Hi Strow, yeah I don't tend to go over to the other thread much these days. Maybe I will pay a visit.
I sold in the sell off and bought back at the bottom, now got more than ever and lower average price as I don't believe this is an end point for HZM, more an unsavory staging point. Being forced to announce the funding gap without a funding plan created a severe response. However at this price I think its massively oversold.
The companies wording in the 2nd Oct and the recent update hints towards strong cornerstone support, additionally I feel construction continuing is another big indicator of the direction.... So for me its all about what is the size and shape - royalty, debt, equity etc. But until we see it I remain nervous.
Likewise I am intrigued by what will happen to the timing of A2 -Its a big kicker financially and would help offset reduced returns from A1 so could be a central point of discussion. A delayed royalty on A1 for a couple of years for example could leave cash flow in yr 1 and 2 to build A2. Lots of clever and influential people in that cornerstone group - so I am very keen to see what the outcome is. GLA.
I hadn't spotted this before, it will be interesting to see Peel Hunts revised price target from 220p when the funding package is unveiled.

Similarly I loaded at low points, average is under 40p, been building since 2103. North of 200%
FTSE index 6462 then now 7673. Under 20%
Happy to hold through to the much higher prices that come when producing, nervousness of risk and potential further funding is the drag and understandable. If we need more equity and I am not saying we do, its not deal but A1 is the gateway to the rest and is the current grey goose that should lay the golden eggs to bring A2 and perhaps A3 to life.
Vermehlo unsure where that goes TBH- Sale/JV/RKEF
Next update will be very telling
Nice one.
Another impressive addition to the team with key experience in commissioning/ramp up etc.
He has been there , done it and got the T-shirt.
Hi guys, yes no matter which way you look at it there is enormous potential in this 100% HZM owned Nickel district. The numbers are staggering. Gateway to it all is A1, so for me a successful start and ramp up will be the key to unlocking a major rerate as everything else comes into play when A1 starts.
I asked on the call the other day the book value of Vermelho, it was stated at $10-15m - that is literally nothing for a massive world class resource, its probably only a few cent/lb of Nickel in the ground.
Getting us further into the shop window for sure.
High quality stuff as usual and the HZM team are delivering on promises.
SP to follow at some point surely !
Very happy with the latest update today, very solid progress and still on timeline.
A2 and Vermelho news being tightly held.
Interesting to see how this plays out, thanks for the link.
I had taken calendar Q1 literally rather than from last update. Lets see what happens.
Q1 update should be due early April I would think. Hopefully it comes promptly.
Taking shape nicely, should be around 50% built by now with huge numbers on site. Exciting times. Wet season ending any day now which is another risk behind us.
A price slump to $22k per tonne is ideal for HZM. This should be underpinned by higher production costs in Asia which are using fossil based fuels for energy. I understand their C1 costs are around double HZMs at the moment at around $15k/ tonne.
I thought they had one of their CFDs maturing in March this year, I wonder if they have somehow rolled it over, could explain some of the trades that didn’t move the price.
Indeed, the plot thickens…..
Good spot though, nice one.
40% complete at 31st Jan, rainy season due to end soon I think.
Good progress.
Good spot Rover, its amazing how many additional snippets of info is out there buried and the coverage we all bring to the BB with the connections we have and the online trawling we do.
This is a great example. Nice one.
