London — BP and Azerbaijan's Socar have made a gas condensate discovery after 14 months of drilling to a depth of nearly 7,200 meters in the Shafag-Asiman block in deepwater off the Caspian Sea coast, the state company said March 25.
I bought some at 511p but did manage to buy some extra at 292p and even 211p, my average is about 340p after dividends already received but this is a long term hold for me. The world will always need oil. Oil aint going nowhere
so if you just tuned in, BP despite the doom and gloom merchants we had on the way down, well the dividends are still there, the price of oil is much higher than it has been for ages and the diversification into renewables is taking place. All bodes well for higher dividends in the not too distant.
the oil price is rising and this gives oil majors the chance to make these greener investments and earn a bundle from existing lower cost operations. BP and Shell are paying the shareholders lower dividends than last year so there is scope for share price increases imo. It wont be long till everyone is vaccinated at least once and the lockdown restrictions should be lifted soon. but there was a more important thing I read that the US government or Biden was giving their citizens 1400usd checks and also writing off most or all the student loan debt.
natural gas price and Brent crude05 Feb 2021 13:48
Natural gas price $3.03 the last time I checked on oilprice.com and Brent crude nearly $60 a barrel. Natural gas price is the highest it has been in a good few months since the first lockdown and maybe before that. The current SP is a insult to us holders. It should be well higher
people are still going to receive the dividends this year, next year it might be a little less but why didnt Glaxo mention this in the report? I saw some positives like less net debt and dividends covered by cashflow and EPS. The problem with the results was the negative outlook
I tried both vype epen 3 tobacco flavour refill and also blu blueberry both are good vapes, but there is more intensity, a better experience with Vype. The device itself is more premium and bolder than Imperials but both are good.
I doubt somehow all current cars on the road are soon going to be dinosaurs, surely not. Maybe more realistically new car sales and production of cars are going to be electric, i.e no more petrol and diesel cars. Thats more plausible.
Bp production of oil and gas is planned to reduce to make way. BP oil and gas is not going away. Just that new spending on investments is going to be on solar, wind, hydrogen
