The results are needed to see that ONT are on track after already pushing out forecasts earlier this year - fund manager 'opinion' can wait until then.

Yeah, but it's also possible that Sunbelt will outsource if needed to help maintain the terms of their contract and strengthen their relationship. Outlook comments in HSS interims in September will be interesting reading, particularly around strategy.

HY results are not due until 4th Sept (tbc) so they will not be declaring a dividend on 30th July. Expect payment of any dividend would then be in October.

The first stock exchange reforms have already been announced by the FCA this week (as was already slated back in March, long before the election was announced) and will apply from the end of July. These reforms have been widely supported by the financial services community as promoting the London Stock Exchange as a place to do business and attract capital.

The Chairman bought shares on 21st June. Closed period prior to release of results is 30 calendar days (per MAR) so earliest date for release of HY results is Monday 22nd July.

RNS states presentation "around the time of the AGM" so would expect the results Monday or Tuesday next week.

No, FY RESULTS are on 12/9, next week is just a year end update. Kier don't issue a separate Q3 update, that's a mistake by Alliance News, but they do issue a year end update in mid July every year.

It should be a trading update for the year end 30th June next Thursday, not Q3 results.

In Canada, yes, since the change to T+1 settlement at the end of May (also now generally applies to US and Mexico trading).

UK is still T+2 so would need to hold at close yesterday here to qualify for upcoming dividend payment. See today's RNS.

There’s nothing secret or hidden about the process and as Slikoil says if you have DMA then you can take part yourself. It’s a vital part of standard market dynamics. The UTs are not really ‘single’ trades, more that they are the total of all buys and sells that are matched in the auction period, at the price that clears the most trades off the book. These are then totalled into what you see as the UT which also sets the official closing price at the end of the day.

This happens on most FTSE 350 stocks at the end of every day and often in the morning and at noon as well. For large companies like PHNX they nearly always run into £millions in total, every single trading day. Most participants will be Institutions and HNWIs who have a very good understanding of stock exchange processes, and the closing auction in particular has become more and more important in recent years.

As to your final question – simple answer is no you can’t, unless you have detailed algos and are watching every trade as it goes through level 2 (very sad if anyone does). Regardless - every trade is both a buy and a sell anyway, otherwise a ‘trade’ wouldn’t happen! The stock exchange never reports an origin/direction for a trade, it just reports it as ‘a trade’ at an agreed price. The Buy/Sell split on sites like this and others is just a very simple algo that tries to guess the ‘origin’ of the trade by comparing the trade price to the mid point of the spread, because they think that’s somehow helpful :/

There is a standard disclaimer at the bottom of Morningstar and also some Broker trade list screens, generally along the lines of:

“Buys and Sells are indicators only and are not definitive data items. The type of trade is judged on the basis of the trade price in relation to the mid-price at the time the trade is published, e.g. if the trade price is greater than the mid-price, a purchase is assumed. Therefore, Buy/Sell indicators can occasionally be incorrect.” – copied from interactive investor.

Yeah, suspect SSP read across plus other travel up today. XD for 11p tomorrow as well, although less than 1% yield from that so maybe not getting too much income attention.

Still seems stuck in a £11-12 range for now, although base starting to rise gradually. Next results likely to be y/e update early September so hopefully a rise towards then.

Echo Slikoil's post on the UT process. Ignore the whole Buy/Sell notification on here, it's just a guess as to the origin of a trade, very often nonsense, and should never include the UT.

The listing rules are already changing, nothing to do with Labour. It's been under discussion and then consultation for a couple of years already and now due to be implemented in the next few weeks once final details are announced by the FCA. Unless there is some other, possibly nefarious, scheme that Labour has been toying with?

Jet2 would need to increase in size by over 60% to be considered for the FTSE 100 as it stands. That's an SP of over £21 which would also be an ATH. Nice if it were, but not likely to happen soon. It could make the FTSE 250 with a main market listing but I can't recall if they have commented on that possibility/intention previously?

And Philip Meeson stepped down from the Board last summer, although remains as an adviser.

Yeah, I was getting caught up with the Section 341 requirement that poll results have to be announced, but EML's Articles follow the standard pattern of allowing a show of hands that then just allows a simple 'passed' notification like the one we get. If no-one else heads over to Isle of Man and it's just the Directors sitting there all smug then unlikely to see a poll being requested.

Still, just because they don't have to do something doesn't mean that they can't do it in the interests of disclosure and better communication with their long suffering shareholders. As we both note - there are other companies that do volunteer the information and I now realise that another company I follow issued the advance Proxy voting voluntarily possibly for a similar reason as PHE.

Confirmed now in the DCU section on Prax website:

So that would apply from the DCU payment due end of September 2025 onward.
