The HY results have slipped a little from previously announced 26th September to now showing Early October, but they normally issue notice of that in advance as well.

Their HY period end date looks like being next Saturday, 3rd Aug, so Hibbett won't really impact on those numbers other than costs incurred in the purchase process since April (and not earnings accretive until next full year anyway) but having visibility of their HY results as well for better outlook/guidance makes sense.

Personally I think the Ex Div date will more likely be the 15th rather than the 8th, based on previous years, but we will know both the date and the amount next Thursday.

Very nice, and confirmed intention to restore the FY dividend (previously said that they would IF trading as expected, so today's statement confirms it).

Upgrade to FY guidance - "the Group currently expects FY24 Adjusted Operating Profit to be in a range of £88-90m, ahead of prior guidance of £86-£88m and ahead of current market expectations". Any material upgrade to guidance should be notified to the market as soon as known, so they had to bring forward the announcement from the 30th.

It was issued by Reach this morning rather than the regular RNS service, so LSE haven't picked it up.

In the 25th June RNS they stated "Details of the date and time of the presentation will be announced at the time of the release of the interim results."

Well there is no mention of it in today's RNS nor before. The presentation is at 3pm today.

They also noted "Questions can be submitted pre-event via the Investor Meet Company dashboard up until 9.00am the day before the meeting or at any time during the live presentation."

So still possible to submit questions later if you register for it.

DLG changed their interim reporting to September last year, not this year.

Although the Ex-div and Pay dates they state are still guesses by them and we won't know for sure until the declaration on the 4th.

The RNS for the contract win was on 13th May, today's news was just a press release via the company website providing a few more lines about the technical aspects of the contract, but nothing more.

Not sure that alone would account for the rise today, maybe also some accumulation going on - there seems to be a bit of rotation of funds into value stocks now and UK companies should benefit from that.

Unhooked - you are maybe recalling that it was the insurance underwriting business AICL that they were trying to sell a year or two ago but they put it on pause last September (see interim results) as conditions were thought to be improving, so hoped for better value from a possible sale at a later date. They kind of, sort of, ish confirmed that was still improving in the FY results in April this year.

So yes, need to see that confirmed in the interims this time (which won't be until 2nd October) and also see if they are still considering a potential future sale. Insurance generally took a hit for a few years but now recovering in pockets. Sabre HY results next Tuesday 30th maybe the first to report this season so possible read across. Admiral 15 August, DLG 4th Sept, so Saga look like one of the last to report?

Dividendmax do not decide when a company declare a dividend, the Board of Directors do.

Dividendmax date of 30 July is just an incorrect guess based on the calendar progression from the last Interim dividend declared on 2nd August 2 years ago, that's all, that's how their system works. If DLG had declared an Interim last year with the results on 7th Sept then Dividendmax would now be guessing a date for this year of 5th Sept - still wrong but at least closer to the actual.

Do you mean on the 3rd July? Explained in the RNS that the sale covered tax and NI on share awards, and he (and others also listed) retained more shares from the PSP than they sold and therefore increasing their holdings. Standard tax planning for Directors to do that in any large company.

Lots of commentary around funds rotating out of the tech 'bubble' into other lower valued categories. UK in particular is now seen as undervalued and investable again by many fund managers - MKS in a strong position to capitalise on that. Certainly looks a bit like II accumulation here.

"successful fund manager" - have you looked at ARKK's performance over the last 3 years Sisyphus? Her "huge following" is maybe just all those trapped in and waiting to get their money back? Not a fund manager I would ever trust with my money.

And that list of high-tech categories is fairly obvious to anyone involved with the stock market as being some of the key themes for this decade, it's not rocket surgery to come up with that. One middle tier fund manager 'maintaining' anything is just an opinion, doesn't mean anything WILL happen, particularly with regard to ONT's profitability.

Again, pure supposition by you that was not well explained.

The results are needed to see that ONT are on track after already pushing out forecasts earlier this year - fund manager 'opinion' can wait until then.
