Pearls SMS holds a golden share so it won’t be taken over !!
When the price was dropped to 120 this morning someone bought 500k that's why it shot to 135 it looked like the price was dropped this morning to fill the order from opening at 126. It's the most undervalued stock on the Ftse and there are some other unbelievable opportunities out there.
GMHK there is good money to be made on this share even at an average of 170 just look at the most recent disposal the moving parts of the business are worth treble the 170 figure. It’s a 50 per cent gain to get back to the 197 rights issue price absolute madness !!
GMHK for transparency I bought in yesterday at 1.30 that was my target based on other RI I've been involved in.
The market cap when it plummeted before the RI went down to £220m and again after rights even after raising £257 million.
I've seen this happen on 3 separate occasions with different companies and then climb.
The significant director buys in October has give me confidence there won't be another RI but could be wrong I have left plenty of dry powder if required to further my average down if required hopefully I won't.
Gracious post there are pi 95% down already on this share and you come up with there could be another RI based on what exactly ?
I’m pointing out people have lost money in pensions savings etc and you come and warn them there could be another RI do you not think investors in this are not already panicking etc.
I actually like most of your posts as most the time you seem sensible but try not to kick people when their down.
Mike I was the one who told you TUI would fall below the RI price whilst you would tell anyone that would listen it wouldn’t now your on here preaching there could be another one. You didn’t understand the whole process over on TUI now you’re an expert 😂😂😂.
Why would there be a RI ?? There well in there covenants so what would be the reason or you just making it up as you go along trying to scare PI who have already been through the mill on this share!!
At 100p that would be a market cap of 163 million surely it won’t go that low but stranger things have happened !
Surely at a market cap of £225 million this this has to be a takeover target for P/E or the Malaysian company it’s currently trading on 6 weeks revenue !
The problem is there is people on here with significant sums in this share and all not lucky enough to have predicted the exact bottom. Luckily I had funds available to reduce my average whilst it was in its low 60s others may not have had that opportunity.
It adds nothing to the forum what so ever somebody patting themselves on the back for saying their average is the exact low for the share. As I say it’s not just this share it seems to be every share your in I would honestly consider setting up your own fund as I’ve never come across anyone who predicts the exact bottom as you do !!
Mary you seem to be in a few stocks I’m in you always seem to pick the lowest price and seem to trim as you say as soon as soon as there is any reduction in price at the peak.
You must be worth hundreds of millions of pounds based on how much you make on the stock market I’m honestly surprised you’re not too busy spending your huge wealth and feel the need to spend all day every day on LSE singing your own praises !!
What makes me smile is the amount of new comers to the board who tell you it will be walked down etc etc. This is still 13p old Pmo money to people who have been here a while since then HBR have paid off 3 billion debt hedges coming to an end and is now a real player. 2 billion market cap your having a laugh !!
Has anyone noticed the huge buy gone through for £714k and the UT a massive £2 million on the buy side at 512.00 someone is confident on the results !
I know some people are against buy backs but if there isn't sufficient opportunities available I would be keen as a long term investor for the company to buy back as much of the company as it possibly can do. It's so undervalued it's untrue and whilst the share price is so suppressed buy back as much of it as you can. This will increase dividends for existing shareholders whilst reducing the free float.
Mattwales I will agree to disagree I think he's just plucking a number out of thin air !!
I'm looking closely at this stock and have been for a while. What's the reason Robina you think the company market cap should be around £40 million ?
Interesting both bought in October and only just notified. How many more have they bought in the last month !
I can't for the life of me understand why the Malaysian company hasn't made an approach for a takeover. In the rights issue they would have to have purchased in the region of £75 million just to keep their current percentage of around 28%.
Yes it did it went down to 32p I was is in it and made my biggest loss to date. I've already proven this on the TUI board to others who told me it would never go below the discounted price and guess what TUI is still below the discounted price !!
Hi Freedom
The Rights issue is fully underwritten which means any shares not taken up are taken by the underwriters. This is my biggest concern on this share there will be a huge overhang of shares . If you look at most R/I recently Aston Martin, Tui, RR etc they almost always go below the discounted price. I sold as soon as the R/I was announced at a loss and am waiting in the wings for the next month to see how it plays out. I always work off current market cap and will be interesting to see where this goes to after the R/I. TUI for example had a market cap of £3.6 billion when it announced R/I received £1.8 billion from the RI and now the market cap is only £2.4 billion.
I understand your comment in relation to the oil price but surely a company the size of TUI either has all their oil hedged or a large percentage for the next few years at the very least.
