Stefan Bernstein explains how the EU/Greenland critical raw materials partnership benefits GreenRoc. Watch the full video here.
I suspect Goldman overhang still clearing . Need Redwood Capital and significant director buys to clear supply and then we have green light to 100p first stop.
BOD Forecast ROTE at mid-teens equals to around 100m profits in 20 months time. That's substantial relative to the current market cap. Patience will see share price rebound to more reasonable levels. IMO,DYOR.
I asked them about directors buys yesterday during the webinar.
Response as follows: He's been having "Internal discussions about this topic currently and not going to comment on individuals, we do see VALUE in where our share price is at the moment."
Yesterday C4x Discovery Delisting from AIM. Yet another one unable to find the benefits of remain listed. We seeing a trend here. Sad day for London.
Great planning from start to finish. A lot of work done to plan and organise this. Nice finish by Ian. Although Q&A was quite short, none of my new questions answered due to short of time. Buy and hold for me. GLA, DYOR. IMO
@Flava thanks for sharing the Panmure Gordon comments. Do you have a link?
I particularly like the following statement, 100m a year of PBT from 2026. That's like returning the current market cap every year. A lot of dividends.
"We believe that this equates to a business making around £100m of adjusted PBT [profit before tax] and close to 30p of adjusted earnings per share.
Yes agree might as well get the funding done and dusted. Otherwise funding concerns will continue to depress the sp anyways.
A few secs faster hxu. lol
Strategy Seminar for 3 hours... appreciate the BOD making the efforts for shareholders to understand the detailed plans in place to turnaround the company. Keep up the good job.

Quite a few persistent large sells recently... the BOD needs to finally show some commercialisation results. Heard nothing significant since FDA announcement, cash burn too significant relative to the 100k sales orders and non-disclosed amounts they are bringing in. We need orders in the millions for any meaningful impact and demonstration to us shareholders that there is potential to scale for eventual profitability.
@XXXAcountant- where is ur source? I didn't find any pointing at Vanquis Bank. Ian and Dave was very clear at the webinar today saying they are not involved in FCA investigation as they don't do commission model for motor finance.
Taverham, they said they are taking legal action against the one CMC company which accounts for around 80% of all the spurious claims. Regarding timeline, it depends on the courts which could take as long as it needs.
Expecting a gradual and steady to 100p in the next few months.
1 months ago 120p
12 months ago we were 230p.
5 years ago 500p
10 years ago 2500p (Neil Woodford days)
Market cap at 130milion gives the share price a significant room and space to grow when we see some substance from the management team
I am hoping we finally see a truly incredible boards to implement a feasible turnaround strategy. This has legs for sure.
Baysils right.. Plenty of LIQUIDITY is key. Retail deposits from 2022 £1.1bn to 1.9bn in 2023 is pretty significant increase of 73%. Careful management of NIM will see nice dividends going forward. I also suspect they are understating things to get the bad news out of the way.
Unbelievable value destruction for small shareholders. Shocking exit or no exit option or protection for the little guys. Nasty as hell. Clive as chairman couldn't careless too. He's sucked shareholders dry and decided to call it a day.
As pretty much the only surviving reputable leader in subprime lending post AMIGO administration etc. It is not in FCA's interest for lending to take place in the black markets where traditional banking will not even let this segment open a bank account. So Vanquis is here to stay and benefit from this growing market.
@Mary - I asked 4-5 questions as follows:
1) CMC complaints why so sudden in Q3-Q4 and top reasons why?
2) Director buys
3) Complaints Costs in 2024 Forecast
4) Impairments forecast for 2024
5) Share price fall and actions (Didn't answer mine cos he answered yours)
Surprised all my questions got answered. Can't think of any additional questions currently.
Hope to see more Redwood buys and significant Director buys. Expect nothing less from these directors. Pocket change compared to net worth.
I asked them about directors buys. Response as follows:
"Discussions about this topic currently and not going to comment on individuals, we do see there is value in where our share price is at the moment."
Good question at the end Mary. Should put them on their feet as to restoring confidence in the share price. No easy questions for the management today.
Massive drops but small rises. Looks like this needs a bit more time for buys to outstrip the existing overhang in supply from Goldman. After that 🚀 . IMO, DYOR
