I am bullish up to about £2.05 with a dividend circa 7% why not? yes we have been dropping recently but in all the time I have owned VOD this has happened on numerous occasions and it always comes back, the board have consistently said they are committed to a growing dividend and in the 12 years or so I have been collecting that dividend I have no reason to disbelieve them.

The most recent comment regarding the dividend by the board was in May.

"The Board is recommending a final dividend per share of 10.23 eurocents, up 2.0% year-on-year, consistent with the Board's intention to grow the dividend per share annually."

ajbennett I am not disagreeing with what you say and yes I have read all the RNSs... what im saying for me at 3.9p its a buy that RNS you refer to in December I believe the SP was above 8p ? that for me WOULD NOT have been a buy...and I do believe that with whats going on now and the new rig ZEN could well have a very bright future, that is what I have based my investment on, not what happened in the past although I take note of that....I give them six months and we shall see, but im willing to bet the SP is a lot further North than it is now.

ajbennett you are obviously in at a lot higher than the SP at the moment and I suppose you have every right to be angry that the company have not performed as you were to expect, I am fairly new to ZEN.. but not new to buying shares in fact I have been buying and selling shares since I was 24 I am now 52.....I think what im getting at is that had I not had a little experience I would be very put off buy your comments on this board and probably not bought in.....However what little research I have done up to now tells me this company could well have a very bright future and I think when the larger and more powerful rig is in place and doing its job sentiment will change....and I will be adding to my stake over the next few weeks as long as we do not get any major surprises.... at this price I feel ZEN are a strong buy. The only situation I can see that would get this SP to 1.40 to 1.60 range would be a cut in the Divi....VOD have already said on numerous occasions that they support a growing Divi and the last 12 years certainly supports that theory and so does the FCF......I also feel if the Divi was cut the SP would go lower than 1.40 and the BOD certainly know this......so at this price it has to be a strong buy for me....GLA

Like I said in one of my previous posts I sold out at around £2.58 for no other reason than the board room shenanigans I actually think this is a great company and Southend Airport is the key, I am hoping to get back in at some point at a much lower price as I do not think this is over by a long way those guys will not just walk....and this could become quite costly...GLA

Good luck to all of you that think you will soon be buying VOD at 1.40 to 1.60 my opinion for what its worth.....it just won't happen, been here well over ten years and seen the range time after time, VOD may get to 1.80 or just below but take a look at the price come Oct/Nov time you will have wished you bought at this price......I won't wrong but if by some miracle I am I will be still here and taking the divi like I have for donkeys years .....GLA

Cant see a takeover myself but you can never say never.....VOD are one of the biggest in the sector so 1. who could afford us ? (maybe Liberty) and 2. who would want us?.....

I class this stock as much higher risk in my portfolio and makes up a small percentage .....having said that I find the higher the risk the higher the reward....and as long as it sensibly proportioned within your portfolio its fine...

Another reason (but not the only) for investing here is that the CEO AC has a lot of skin in this, and it is not often that I find any CEO with this amount invested lose, they also know a lot more than us about the future of the company.....I fully expect this to head North quite quickly over the next 6 months....

Been invested here since the placing and looking to add very shortly, but just one comment I feel the need to make, why would you invest in a company and then constantly run them down....? I have seen this on a few other share postings and generally the said person is shorting the stock not always I may add....anyway I have done a little research and feel the company does have a bright future yes there have been a few problems and shenanigans going on but thats why the share price is where it is now, Ill give it 6 months to see if they can turn things around and start to make things happen which I feel is entirely possible...,,

that bloody 1.88 is a killer....we will get there and clear it soon.....

I came close to adding quite a few today but because of the MM games I have decided to wait the way things are this could go much lower however I realise on the flip side if an RNS drops and its good I will be caught out I suppose you take your chance.....I would of hated it more had I have bought at 1.40 and it dropped toe below 1.00 I still hold quite a few so it wouldn't be so bad the other way round if it goes up and I haven't added more...I feel there could be quite a few people in this position....

I hope I dont see it either, but unless they sort this load of crap out the SP will not hold.....I am pleasantly surprised to see the rise we have had.....

Its very hard to remain positive when you see the share price drop from 2.2p to 1.35p in a few days its looking very similar to the last spike im afraid....
