There will one day be a photo of stuff actually happening on the ground and this should start taking off. Frustrating as hell watching nonsense like UKOG take off again which has a zero product, diluted to hell and mad amounts of debt. I had a look back at the timelines and when originally on track, the time between IML and production was pretty short. Hopefully even with the issues in Sri Lanka (being resolved now...); this should mean news asap.
Agreed to all of this; only issue is time and cash burn. I'd like some reassurance on that but hopefully all will come good quickly.
No no no; the placing was supposed to happen a few months ago remember?
And the IML wasn't going to be granted... remember?
Nope, absolutely bonkers.
Didn't do much to trading activity...
Falling below 5p on minimal volume with a green lighted mining project..
This is criminal now; market conditions are poor, volume is tiny as well. Hopefully offtake comes asap and sparks some life back into this in September/Q4.
That doesn't really wash tbh; institutional money maybe but not AIM. Other shares are able to attract activity...
Basically it's now all about offtake as market isn't going to buy in until the threat of dilution is removed. That and I don't think Frayne is very credible in the markets eyes due to delay. As soon as a photo appears of a digger or a ship that will change things! Hope that doesn't take another year!
CMET has to be one of the only shares where the more PR done the less volume traded the next day....
Next stop is offtake to drive news; volume should pick up then. No idea if that is days/weeks/months away. Can't lie and I say how disappointed I am to the reaction is to the IML. Same thing happened with the EIA last year. A year on to have both IML/EIA and be lower is just insane. There's been minor dilution so it's just a lack of hype and the current climate I guess. No confidence from the market that either a. Frayne can't overcome the hurdles in Sri Lanka (obv not true but understandable) and/or b. the market doesn't believe Frayne's timeframes (again understandable given the huge delays).
I can only think offtake is the only thing once signed will promote this share?
Yeah it's nothing new is it... But at least it's something in theory CMET controls. It should move as fast as they can move it then buy the equipment and get down there... No more permissions as far as I am aware required!
When the value recognition will be is a bit lost on me though! Was hoping for a return to more sensible levels sooner rather than later.
Airborne - I agree; I know MF has his failings but this weird level of quietness post the biggest news CMET has ever had is telling. Something is brewing imo!
Now this is a pure guess but maybe Frayne literally still can't say much if news is locked in and is very market sensitive (i.e. in a closed period). The podcast he did post the IML was beyond rubbish imo and weirdly so to a point which makes me think more news is due any day hence why he could do little PR/say much.
Frayne isn't great at the promo mainly because there's been little to say but this current run makes no sense. To go from IML granted to zero promo yet he did a lot of promo when there's little to say is just unlikely. I'm hoping it's due to a big news run incoming (i.e. offtake).
I think that's about right by my recollection as well.
So what's going to cause this SP to shift. Port is in good shape, IML is in. Does it take photos of people with spades or a digger!? Offtake news should be extremely imminent giving Frayne's enthusiasm in that department however legals do take longer than anyone ever estimates. I was hoping the IML would cause a re-rate but it hasn't so far. So EIA/IML not causing a re-rate, logic is offtake is now the one? If the revenue figures are even remotely true, at some point this should just rocket. I would have assumed the IML removed the uncertainty of not having revenue (given offtakers are a dead cert!)
Massive gaps to be filled; needs such little volume and we will see this re-rate very quickly.
Hoping for more news and maybe some PR this weekend. This needs to get back into the teens rapidly then see some growth. The fact this project has been hugely de-risked is yet to dawn on the market atm. There is revenue coming, the port is open and all we need to do is offtake partner then dig.
Some weird trades today even with the spread moving about...
Query over who is selling this tiny increase; I'd like to think this is going to return towards the teens given that there's been no dilution and revenue at some point is now guaranteed?
Same PFG; welcome back.
Should be a good news period now; Port is sorted; offtake news to come hopefully. If Frayne can come in and say no big placing at this level; lots of good news to come then this might finally re-rate. Mineral prices still at ATH so would like to see this back in the teens sooner rather than later.
Genuinely quite exciting.. waiting for that update, really need a spark to get it moving, hoping for levels seen back start of the year if sales news are promising.
Hoping for an update or at least confirmation the report is coming?
Was hoping for an indication of decent provisional results from the Toothpaste trial...
Fingers crossed!
Not what I said.. For clarity;
I meant if the company confirms in line with the algorithm prediction (and similar data i've looked at) which if semi-accurate shows a huge increase compared to last results. That should help some growth!
Yeah Web traffic has as well, it would be great to see how much, if its a sizeable increase compared to the hit thr last results in march, could see a rerate.
Odds are indeed on for news soon; basically it'll be a sales update that makes it pop that is far in line with original expectations at the start of the year. Trading volume is odd, a few huge days of volume making it look like news is coming then it drops off again. Seeing the slip over at OPTI as the hype goes off and the traders head for the door.
Hoping for an update this week?
