The shares were only worth 0.17p when they were suspended, which is almost zilch. Whatever percentage of the company goes to AGR during these discussions, the remainder of Max (the company) will still be listed on AIM and shares will still be tradeable.

Their current dilemma will have forced the Management team to have a long hard look at their operating costs. They will have made many changes and if, as they say, they will be profitable at $40 a barrel, this bodes well for the future i.e. faster debt repayment.

Hope springs eternal. Nicely worded, giving some re-assurance to the masses. I wonder if the final RNS will deliver the coup de gras?

getting an appointment with your Banker in Kazakhstan is a little like getting a dental or doctors appointment in the UK? Max might have to wait weeks to get their first screening, come begging, come consultation appointment. Then it could be a case of "see you in six to eight weeks" hahaha

Fair point. An air of optimism has crept onto the board over recent weeks, because of the delay in news. I'm optimistic myself. However, another couple of weeks of no news will push me into the pessimistic camp I'm afraid. :(

I can wait until June, July, August.........whenever. As long as the result is positive, the result will be well worth the wait. However, if the result is negative, the long wait will seem like the biggest bummer since Talkback Mountain!

I don't think there's any point setting your alarms for a 7 am RNS with Max. News, and hopefully it will be good news, will come at some obscure time IMO, going by the times they have released news in the past.

If there were any rumours, they would have no effect as we are still in suspension. If we come through this though, we'll all be kicking ourselves for not loading up more at 0.125p :) GL

Almost two months since the RNS warning us that the outlook is negative for all, unless re-financing is arranged and agreed. Funnily enough though, I feel there is less risk now than back then.

Of course it is. The future and success of Max has always been in pre-salt. It's a bit like British bands trying to crack America. Max needs to crack pre-salt. the whole world knows this.

I couldn't agree more. One thing they must do is get the right drilling company in to complete NUR 1. One with experience of the geology and salt strata that they are dealing with. Also the contract should be written that the driller shares the risk. If the drill fails, Max doesn't foot the whole bill. If the drill is successful, the driller gets X% of the projected profits for X years.

It could all be over in 32 hours time? Then again, glass half full, it could be a new beginning! :)

I've been kicked many times on AIM when I've been down. You would be astonished at the amount of money I lost in 2010 / 2011. The law of averages means I have to get one right sometime.............or do they? :(
