RE: Is #AVCT heading for 83pence soon?17 Feb 2024 11:05
You charties only ever seem to appear when there is a bit of a down trend....You're just trolls in disguise. You tell us you're not, 'we're just showing the trend'. Charts can be manipulated just like anything else and can be made to show what you want
From what I see, if you're a long term holder we've all been here before and if you believe that Avacta are going to be successful then this is just a dip along the way.
If you're short, then you need to be on here to make sure you don't get stopped out or wiped out.
Here's another conspiracy theory. From 107, Stifel have been pushing the price down way below other MM's on a daily basis, any rise being capped off by holding the ask.
It could well be that there is a VWAPd order in place as there are regular 50k/100k prints popping out. On low volume, easy to achieve. This is fairly clear if you have L2, the bid side has had extremely thin price bands allowing the price to fall quickly compared with the wide price bands on teh ask side, making an upward trend more difficult.
If this is the case and you are short, you've just been feeding the order and you're screwed when its complete, as the book will flip...
If you actually looked at the price action, the rest of the MMs have been trying to push the price up and Stifel just sit there and force the price action to happen underneath their ASK. Eventually, this forces the price down.
You don't need a chart to see this, just recognise market patterns. That's how it looks to me. Short positions think this is t their advantage, but it may well turn out not to be so. What is interesting is that Stifel are our house broker(well, joint) and whilst I realise MM and Broker services are separate(allegedly) you'd think that screwing over the SP of your client is not good for PR.
You could say that they know something, but if thats teh case why aren't Peel doing the same thing?
Could be completely wrong, just as the charties predict but this pattern has happened numerous time
