My point was @Bella
he doesn't give a crap about shareholders. IT's just fluff. He uses the same language every time "shareholder value" - what a load of tosh. I'd have a bit more respect for him if he cancelled those options from last year. He never commits to anything, keeps bringing up "NASDAQ Listing". He'd never last in Nasdaq - you have to perform and the II's in the USA know what to expect from biotechs, fluff and BS is not it. To move to Nasdaq, the board need to be upgraded and that includes shumper boy.
The Avacta tech is just brilliant, the board is most definitely not.
And when you say "why do you think companies list" - well, they are supposed to go up in value and raise along the way. Not divide by three and raise at the lowest point.
They clearly thought they had somnething in the mix for funding but never occurred to them that it may fail? What kind of CEO has no backup plan? - a crap one!
What kind of CEO has an offer of funding at 125p that would have had less dilution and more money in the bank, but doesn't engage with the source...you can make your own mind up there.
But if you're in the Al fanclub, you're like a Turkey calling for Christmas. Avacta needs a proper CEO and CFO, possibly Chairman whilst your at it.
Have to agree PL
We are just a necessary evil to raise money.
Any CEO worth his salt would have come out and answered questions a day or so after the raise. The news blackout is just an excuse. Nothing stopping telling people why it had to be done.
I'm sure he'll get voted back in at the AGM but he shouldn't. We should recruit someone who actually understands the business, who is investible.
Whilst the science results are fantastic, the business management is not. We are now at a stage where it needs a ruthless CEO to get the beat deal for shareholders.
We are just big Als route to fame.
He's made major screw ups at least three times. In a real world job, you'd be fired....
Probably a Winnifrith special.
He considers things like this a victory when in reality it's insider trading and destroying small caps
FCA will never do anything, they are a complete waste of time, they should but won't
Someone is clearly buying up the drop, it's basically back a couple of weeks.
I've been hit by a few of these crap placings in the last few months. I guess you either believe in the end game or not. If you do its a good price(whilst you cover up the existing value of what you've bought) and if not you bail.
Small Caps at the minute are a s.h1.t show. Those with money to lend have all the cards and, stupidly, a lot of teh small caps are leaving it far too late to raise - especially pre-revs companies.
There is no point crying about it. It's done. Still far from impressed.
Whoever bought those 400k blocks clearly didn't know about today
Pretty poor. Not impressed
Looks like all of the IG shorts have closed...
It lives
80 odd pence as I recall now...but they are still in the red
Also, it didn't close below 50p..
People such as swazers are great at telling peeople that they told everyone about it selling off.
It only sold off because we have a crap broker who can't keep his gob shut. It's nothing to do with the company performance in what it does.
If Swazers is the dog bolls, I sure he wil capitalise on the situation and then show us his profits....
I'm more than a bit peeved about this raise, but I wouldn't take advice from a chartist on an anon bulletin board. I never see these chartists come along and tell us that the buy signal has just triggered and we should all pile in.
No, they only do it when the down trend is already in place.
Bu.g.g.er off with your crayons and I don't care if it goes into the 40's. It is what it is. Long haul generally beats the 5pcers.
They would be selling at a chunky loss
@dickbat
LOL. Good man for fessing up!
Hope COPL goes your way,
So I'm not a moron then?
LOL
@dickbat
Dick by name, dick by nature.
The resolutions have gone through you muppet.
How are people like you allowed near a money market?
Well, all went through.
Need to move gumpily on....
You need to seriously do some reading
My Dad had Bladder cancer. He had Chemo to get the size of the Tumour down before being operated on. There was 8 weeks or maybe more before they actualy started Chemo....
So I'd say its pretty normal
@harchris
Sorry, was meant at you, it was meant to answer others.
An update is definitely needed....
