Yes we also probably have the highest housing costs and taxes too , it's not really how much you earn , but much you have to pay out just to stand still , # better off of the dole uk
I think your right harchris, the DHSC probably hoped we'd go bust before the money was paid in full , and maybe they agreed to anything COVID related in a blind panic at the time . Only to regret it later and try to claw back the money
It's pretty typical of this share and many others on Aim to float back down after a big rise , wonder were it will settle £2 ? Surely not £1.50 , if it does I might buy the company myself lol , but in all seriousness , very low SP = offer here . imo dyor
Wasn't it the DHSC that pushed for it to go court? I wouldn't like to be the one pushed for it to go completely the Departments way only for the judge to call it 50/50 split. They would be foolish not to make an offer no matter how right they think they are, they were exceptional times and enormous pressure was on the diagnostic industry. It can't be judged as a situation in ordinary circumstances
Having been a life long Tory voter (56) , I'm afraid I'll have to vote against them . Why ? Tax for roads (crap roads) Tax for Schools( old schools) Tax for healthcare ( Poor health care) Tax Tax Tax , but not a deal of things for the ordinary Joe soap on 20k / 40k , I dont blame one guy here , its the whole party , im alright jack attitude
Maybe so , but it will be back to the low 40s in 6 months time imo
Think someone said we still have the money left from the 10 million raise ( more than a year ago) So it hasn't been dipped into to run the company , then I can only assume it's for if a big brand want to switch ingredients to ours , but need to be assured that we have everything in place to guarantee supply of our product on a large scale if that decision is made , They may just decide to buy us out if they think that we have something that they'll use long term. One thing's for sure waitings going to be expensive if they do decide to buy far later . Dyor imo
Has my name suggests, I do tend to call this wrong , last time I bought at 55p , think I got carried away with the idea that the first buy back of shares would make this continue to rocket , how wrong I was . Now we are in another phase of buy backs and up she goes again , but for how long I ask ? Seem it's stuck in a loop to me , nice profits here if you keep buying at low 40s then dumping in the 50s , next thing to make it head south will be Labour win election no doubt . Hope I'm wrong this time!! But will be interesting to see if in 6 months time its 42 again . Imo dyor
Whilst I don't think Novacyt will get completely wiped out , and believe they will get something from the dispute, I personally would need to buy more at a considerably lower price to make it worth the risk . But I do hope many are bigger gamblers than me
The only way is up, baby 😀
PI100 , sell mate get out why you can! Save yourself if indeed you actually have any shares here
After the latest update , I think we must be looking attractive to any bigger fish at this price , let's hope we don't get swallowed up , I'll feel better if it rises above £2.50 , although I'd still be underwater, like many , even those who bought $10 million worth of shares in the last share offer , you would think they would sell any time soon . Dyor
I don't think they will get all the money , but they obviously think they have a strong enough case to get more than they have possibly been offered . I can't see them being 100% wrong , otherwise how could the DHSC still carry on using there products after the initial dispute . It's a bit like saying a builder your work is terrible and I'm not paying you for it , but can you still build me some more houses? Dyor but I think they are the facts
I remember the last share buy back , sent the sp south from 55p
What a donkey, and when ,"not if " labour win , I'm sure they will crucify the Banks , it's the socialist way
Personally I don't think the Tests were faulty, just think they didn't have the staff to operate the machine correctly, perhaps they worked fine if you had sufficient training to use them
the working poor really do exist, i should know, they feel so poor because they aren't much better off then worse an the unemployed, and often worse off !! crazy isn't it , your better off sitting on ya **** in certain circumstances, than going to work by the time you pay ,rent /council tax/ fuel to get there etc
For me, I still believe in the capabilities of our R&D ,whilst this is never cheap and probably a big cash burn , all it will take is these guys to deliver something else special and we are back in the game ,.I'm glad we have a court date also at least then we will finally know if it's boom or bust , personally I too believe the DHSC will not win outright and a nice cheque for 65m will suite my fine . Maybe then we can get a top notch CEO , but perhaps the rest of the bod are afraid of that
Think eventually this will bounce back , but what to ? It will take a miracle to get above £2.50 again , or many years in my opinion , good chance of the normal 30% gain though from this position ( with good news) only to drift back a day or so later imho dyor
Not sure we'll batter the DHSC , but think the court will look at this with an even hand , given the pressure at the time to find a test that was 100% perfect , and given that the NHS continued to use premier design products , post dispute !! It's hard to see how the DHSC will completely batter Novacyt and win outright, nope they will both have to compromise imho
