RE: Anyone know the rules on a TR1 notification ?10 Aug 2022 12:39
It is down to the TR1 holder to submit forms to update register. The company have no control over it, although I believe the rules say the holder should do it as soon as possible. It is not enforced, I have seen holders issue holdings updates months after they have sold out and some not at all.
I don't believe this will be the case here though. They will issue but if they place a large amount with broker to sell they could choose to wait until done rather than issue every % point down.
my hunch is % split amongst other majors and the rest being offloaded with mms. Once done, we should be smiling again, until then it is a case of riding the waves. I scaled in and have kept my average fairly close to price.
Lots of emotional comments from derampers. Your never win at this if you think with your heart. Distressed seller moving price about but they can only sell for so long. Then supply ends and demand takes over.
That's not the reason jup are/were selling, the fund had difficulties and their rules require them to meet certain criteria for investment. Market cap and such. Don't stress what funds do it often has little bearing on where price will go, overall. If anything they done us a favour and created an opportunity for us small fish to get in cheap off the back of shark money
