Data I think Sandfire have a 10/15% stake in AFP but they have ditched the AFP kalahari licenses. So I see Sandfire more as a silent partner in AFP. However, GLR are definitely there for Sandfire to complete big deals and investment.

So the SP is down today which is a demonstration of extreme naivety on those selling. It might be the biggest mistake they ever made.

I am sure 3card was married to Birdy and didn't like the divorce settlement - 3card filtered for posting nothing of interest.

GLR have just received a small scale copper licence in Zambia after a 13 month wait and no extra work submitted. It takes so long to get things done in Africa.

Makes sense Ana - they need it in writing. Good compromise FS but at these copper prices and all the copper prospects we have I would like to sell the open pit and reward shareholders with a dividend.

I am not concerned about the 5% rise today considering we have had no comment from GLR via an RNS. I suspect an RNS soon and maybe they are wanting to include details of the process of mining or possible sale at the same time. The acknowledgment of the mining licence will be the catalyst for the talks of the potential contractor or sale process to conclude.

Flipper I don't know what company you're invested in but GLR have had loads of good news over the last 5 years even in January but we have not had the killer RNS.

This is very good news and timing could not be better. This is one of 2RNS'I have been waiting for and now this prospect can move on.

'one just saying that Luansobe is on track for the Sept/Oct mining start date' is a bit pointless unless the RNS also includes the acceptance of the mining license.

Cyber the RNS was just a containing statement just saying what FQ are doing and everything is OK at this stage of the process. An RNS like that is not going to do much for GLR in fact the disappointment would cause the SP to fall. I only want an RNS that will make the difference such as a sale of an asset outright preferably or a JV partner with AA, FQ, RIO or BHP. I'm sorry MoneyG but a RNS update might just disappoint when we have so many projects that could deliver a game changer.

Flipper I expect XTR's SP to fall back again after the spike because there's nothing meaningful to RNS for a long time.

Anyone switching from GLR to XTR are certifiable

If we get the ML and considering the percentage we own then $35 million sale is extremely likely for one asset. The profit on the sale could allow us to pay shareholders almost a 1p dividend. Anyone selling GLR without needing the money are totally bonkers.

For a straight forward easy to extract mine we should be looking at a 8% of total deposit price, so a sale price of $43 million.

Flipper the drilling suggests it could be a IOCG!

Risky assets are on the up with the US, France, Germany and even the UK stock market might hit/finish on a high today. This is all good news for metal prices.
