You aren't alone in feeling grumpy about this farce. I and many others have been raising these issues for at least 6 months.
Over a year ago, we were told that no work was possible on the Protos site as birds were nesting there. We all cooed understanding noises and felt all warm and fuzzy at protecting our precious wildlife. Nothing happened.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, still not much happening except unexplained further delays and PHE pumping money in to subsidise Peel. Then TY threw into the mix a further one year delay with no explanation before he did a well-paid runner.
We do need an EGM, or some credible and measurable explantions from the new guy (whoever that might be).

Haha DP, I only ever had about 150,000 shares in RMM, all costing in fractions but it felt soooo good! Largest holding (in numbers, not value) I've ever had in any share . And every share that I held and was consolidated, suffered the kiss of death but RMM hangs on!
Congrats on your holding and I really hope we all do well.
Something the stupid trolls and rampers seem to forget is that we holders aren't the only beneficiaries when shares do well; think of the extra amployment and training opportunities. Then the local economies, extra tax receipts and exports. So many things from success. GLA.

Hello CK, many thanks. I was fairly well before but positively thriving after reading your comments about the grades.
I know that we must always be rational about investments but I've always been optimistic about RMM for some reason. Nice to see it with so much potential, let's hope all goes smoothly, now.

Today's RNS looked very good to this mining novice but an expert interpretation by CK would be most welcome. However, I can well imagine that he will be far too busy teaching at Uni level and won't be able to waste his time on this Kindergarten, even if he felt inclined to do so.
I feel sorry for the genuine posters on here, some of the idiots (we can soon work out who they are/pretend to be) are so pathetic.
Anyway, I really hope that CK does find time to look in and comment on the RNS in particular.

Wow, maybe things will finally start to improve (we really do deserve better!).
A few weeks ago, I suggested that an EGM be called urgently to allow shareholders to openly raise serious concerns.
Covid 19 retrictions had limited the AGMs (and allowed a lot of things to be nodded through instead of being discussed properly).
I'm not sure if those restrictions still apply but if they do, we could hold an EGM in a field with a PA system and practice safe distancing.
I can think of a field in Cheshire where not much has been happening for quite a while - though I hear that there is now some access. Bring gumboots just in case! And an umbrella! And binos for bird-watching!
We can make sure that the Board undertands our concerns and will faithfully represent and inform us - and get the first unit operational asap.
I honestly feel that many Boards forget who they are supposed to represent and treat shareholders as a necessary inconvenience.
Afterwards, we can Partay!

Phew, what a relief! I got a text from them this morning saying everything will be alright. I could quote it as proof, they said!
After all, if you can't believe the word of a Company Director, who can you trust?

Anyway, the CEO at PHE has finally fallen on his sword. Grievously wounded, he has resigned but will stay on as a 'Consultant' for a while. The shareholders would have followed him anywhere, if only from morbid curiosity and he will be gladly missed.
Let's hope our Board follow suit.

It was so close to the genuine one you posted and the sad thing is that people do fall for these things. I'm off to bed now to dream of what might have been - if it wasn't a scam.

Thanks JB but I rather like the other one I found. They've guaranteed me that their 'Forbes Plan' will return me at least 25% pf my $10,000 initial investment after only 7 days! That's much better than GGP gives me, my shares have halved in value. I'll sell up here when the Market opens and invest more with them. So long suckers! :-))

Hi guys. I'm sure that most (if not all:-) (wrote that with a straight face) on this BB have more sense but beware fake NCM websites.
I just tried to visit their homepage and found 2 fake sites that are very convincing and professionally made. Both were adjacent to the genuine NewCrest site. One had been suspended but the other was intact and active.
As with so many fakes these days, it was offering to sell BitCoin on very easy terms and would appear plausible to some - before having their bank accounts emptied.
I let NCM know and such fakes appears to be very common, not just BTC centred.

I hold a small mixed portfolio of shares, mostly on AIM. All down today, one as much as about 10% with no logical reason - except one, SML! Remarkable! Maybe it will be worth something (one day) after all!

I only hold a few thousand shares now but once held a lot more. For very good reasons, I'm not looking for long-term gains. I can't afford to speculate but choose companies that have a good chance of success and seem to have an intrinsic value to society.
I am quite literal and hope I can believe what I am told. However, once I suspect that someone is not being truthful, or is hiding material facts, my trust is lost.
Since I first posted this earlier today, there has been a lot of mixed reactions but many of them seem to agree with my view that we aren't being consulted and advised of reasons for delays.
There has been some defence of the Company by the usual claque, too. To those who say that an extra two years or so delay is OK, I say b/s. We should be kept advised and a proper schedule of works must be adhered to. I cannot believe that some things take so long.
I've seen some defence of the large family holdings but they should have kept the Company as a Private one, not organised an IPO for a Public company to raise much of the initial funding - and risks. At the moment, it feels that the family tail is wagging the PI dog. As for Peel.......
If we have to depend on other countries to set up the FOAK, what a disgrace that will be for the UK. GLA

I can easily understand holders being angry, or annoyed. They really shouldn't be surprised, though, all the indications of disorganisation (to put it kindly) have been there for a long time.
I was accused of deramping about 6 months ago when I asked some questions. A few weeks ago, there were some soothing noises made when I raised similar issues. Now, the true situation might be out in the open (though it might get even worse).
I might well be wrong but I seem to remember hearing even earlier dates than Q1 2022 for completion of the first unit.
I once asked if it was actually going to work and was assured that it would but we all know that running in, adjustments and failure of components will happen. Thus, 2023 might well prove to be very optimistic.
From the first I heard of PHE, 3 thoughts were uppermost in my mind; the benefits for the environment; the boost for British engineering - and owning a profitable company! Now, none of those look closer to us. In fact, it is pretty well guaranteed that the Chinese, or similar, will move in by the time PHE gets its act together. Very sad and embarrassing.
An open EGM should be held asap.

I often wonder if it is because the MMs want to prove a point to us Mortals. Every time a PI complains, they grin and screw it down a bit more. PIs propose, the MMs dispose........ They still make a lot of money in the end.
