Our boss Horgan said we would have some regular newsflow over the coming months in his recent interview before the well results..Let's hope he doesn't let shareholders down and indeed let himself down.

Of ourselves it could .Time will reveal all and some will have made the correct decision and some the wrong...got to be in it to win it.Definitely an accumulation going on and a lot of this story yet to play out.

Horgan would have known the implications of a failed drill and whilst I don't trust any of clon or pet directors they hold a lot of shares and aren't getting any younger .Money is needed and surely they won't want to be diluting at lowly prices like nominal value of 0.25..I suspect news is not too far away to at least get sp back to 0.25.

It's also open to scrutiny the reasons behind why clon was invited into a drill at such a late stage .There is definitely something that clontarf brings to the table and at the moment this is clearly not in the public domain.western gas has invested in clon as it holds clon shares now and western must see some value even before the drill and they would have factored in a negative drill result.

This mornings rns is telling the market what it already knows.What the market needs is a clear update on what it's plans are for the coming 6-12 months.
A money raise seems unlikely at this stage and so the only other way I could see money coming into the company is from some entity taking a stake in Ghana or clon being somehow taken over.as it stands the market views it as having nothing of value and until that view changes it's a waiting game.

Which one is producing?

The shares are being traded.All the sells are being picked up by Someone.There certainly seems a lot more to this than meets the eye.

The lenders of the 3.5 million will have at least doubled their money and may well be back in at rock bottom .Only if they know something not in the public domain.

In the recent interview with Horgan he (from memory)stated clon had 10% of western and not just the drill..I suspect western know something about clontarf that will make their shareholding valuable and this is maybe clon was let in on the drill which was a punt but a big plus if it hit pay.

Very little from Mr Horgan..He was very eager to do the predrill podcast and it would be helpful if he updated on what his thoughts on the future are.The drill was just a punt and although disappointing I'm can't see Horgan having a plan B but no guarantees that he has.Ghana according to his interview is held up more because of clon rather than the ratification process so be interesting to see if anything is pending.Bolivia likewise and they can dilute us now the general meeting conditions were all met /voted through.

If I was going to invest 5k I would go through the rns,s and look at all the podcasts etc that the company have released..bulletin boards are useful but are opinion based and the best advice and research has to come from yourself.A question I have asked is why was clontarf allowed into a high profile drill at short notice for a relatively small financial outlay and not only the drill but whatever the 10% entitles them to.The company has not got a great record so beware however one can't get away from the potential around this drill .Problem is a good drill result should be positive for the sp on Monday and you wouldn't want to be getting in on a spike in sp..

According to the Horgan interview we have 10% of all the oil and gas interests for our investment...Unless they were desperate for cash Clon clearly brought something to the table as yet undisclosed...I doubt it is the lithium so it has to be ghana related and possibly involves a consortium as according to clon we were part of a bid on a Nigerian asset.It's clear there will be some more dilution which hopefully will be at a much higher price.We haven't heard back from the GM from the 2nd June but I suspect the timing of that meeting was important and not a coincidence that it was before news on the well breaks .This could turn out to be a very good opportunity and I'm sure there will be a plan B involving our other interests in case the well isn't a success.

Wouldn't be surprised if we saw a nice rise once the GM approval is done.

Horgan will have high expectations of a positive drill result and probably knows more than the market.A successful drill is the key to clons other projects so it's an important week or so.Market closed on the 2ns as well..interesting times.

100 bagger would be 40p so I would forget that no matter what the result.Start by aiming to double your money or at least make a profit .Set yourself a realistic target and if you reach it then assess what you want to do .sell half maybe and then let the rest ride.It's your choice and be careful of bulletin boards and rely on your own common sense.

Whatever sentiment one has towards Clon the drilling of a well will speak for itself.It will be a success or a failure .All the ramping or de ramping or share manipulation will not affect the outcome.

If this is a success it will enable clon to raise cash at much higher prices and I suspect ghana and Bolivia will quickly come into play.clon will know before the market on how the drill is going and it is in clon interest in my view for that information to leak out as it will make the vote on authority to issue more likely.

I suspect most investors would have their plan of action and put that in place.No need to to keep telling the world about it .I am not disagreeing with your particular investing strategy just don't see why you have to keep rolling out the same old rhetoric.

I think innittowinitit has made his position clear but keeping harping on about it is starting to suggest an Agenda.wish all investors well whatever plan they have.Spudding a well with a quick route to knowing the result is a positive although I accept a gamble.

Over the years I've watch placées take a profit regardless of a company's future prospects .This actually seems a good practice for all shareholders as it almost always guarantees a profit.
