The trades seem to be more about a large accumulation as opposed to small private investors.

With germany likely to ration gas african gas will be in huge demand.There is urgent need to secure supplies and ireland NEEDS gas..A countrys needs come before a group of protesters.The salt water canbe sluiced further out at sea if necessary.

Progress seems to have coincided with the nigerian national petroleum company becoming a entity independent of government.Would not be suprised to see them part of a consortium coming in on the caverns and possibly a regasificatiin vessel.

Large trades towards the end of play today..Definately looking like progress on thise gas caverns.

Well for me personally i invested for the gas cavern project and i dont see any value in the shipbuilding engineering side of the company in terms of shareholder value that is.Sentiment seems to have changed as regards the share price and u doubt that is on the back of the recent contracts .Yesterdays appointment seems to have been a turning point but time will tell.

Whilst i dont trust john wood .His recent wording on the long term future of the gas cavern project being more important than the recent contract announcements isnt thevwords of someone that expects the marine licence to drag on until 2025.These projects will happen because they are important and are needed.Gas is the transition fuel to hydrogen etc.The work needs to start now , not in a few years .Stokey is just scaremongering in my veiw.

The barrow in furness regasification project will be resurrected in my veiw and whoever is coming in to take on the gas caverns will take the whole package.The government wanted these gas caverns secured hence why the old board of directors were ousted .All the infastructure will in mh veiw be built by Harland and wolfe including the regasification vessel .A win win for harl , secure a signifucant cash injection of cash and secure future work for the yards .African gas coming to ireland and the uk from a relatively safe jurisdiction.West coast of aftica , nigeria angola and ghana sit on enormous amounts of gas.Only important thing in all this is how will it impact the share price.

Quashing it is different to giving an opposing result or decision.
There are from whst i understand 3 reasons for quashing.
1 -illegality .the decision maker did not have legal power...in our case he did.
2-procedural unfairness..The procedure was improper ie bias or impartiality..in our case i doubt the decision maker was biased.
3-irrationality...no teasonable person acting reasonably could come to the decision made...in our case the decision maker one assume was reasonable and acted reasonably.
I cant see a problem and it looks like those salt caverns with government interest will go ahead .Probably with african LNG coming the uk and irelands way ...

Given its taken years and numerous objections to the caverns i would assume correct procedure has been followed and we had a top barrister mentioned so maybe it was advice he was offering.

The judicial review merely looks at whether or not correct procedures were followed in coming to a decision.If someone disagrees with a decision a judicial revue isnt necessarily the right course of action.The judicial reve cannot overturn the decision but can determine if how the decision was made followed process.

The FID in my view has been on the table for a while and im sure our government would know the possibilities around the judicial review.Harl gets all the work on the caverns and maybe to build a regasification vessel for a re invigorated offshore barrow in furnace project..The ML has always been a stalling mechanism in my view and we have been waiting on developments in Africa the future supplier of lng..all just an opinion however u dont think we will have too long to wait to find out.

Im not holding my breath on any pre agm update although i accept anyone attending the AGM may have private conversations with board members.For those that for whatever reason cant attend the AgM it doesnt help us.After the recent disappointing drill result and collapse of the sp it would be a great investor relation exercise to fully update the market on all areas of operations.

Ive been banging on about this company and its indirect links to government and this has in the nain been dismissed by most on here but john wood who shared his picture outside downing street and then in the latest webinar strongly suggesting his excitement at government involvement in island magee is a slippery character .This company is not what its portraying to us.in my opinion.
