That tax also pays for the state services, pensions transport infrastructure and general costs of running the country. Just like most other exporting countries.

All info comes from the official channel ie the Kremlin so it’s the info they want to give out, nothing more nothing less. If there was no issue with what they are saying then why block every other external and independent internal news outlet.
