Klunk, bare in mind that lots of on site equipment like long arm machines (peckers) are diesel and the likes of other mobile machinery are the same. If they use electric machines, these can be charged from the grid.
The power usage of a construction site can be considerably less than the final building when completed.
The grid electric on,y have to be carbon neutral. That is one for the supplier to prove tho, but I’m sure there won’t be portable 10kw power towers trying to supply a tower crane. I’ve connected enough of those..
As for the likes of HS2 then that would be a very viable use.

Kline, having been an electrical engineer in a previous career, all of the major buildings in central London had a significant 3 phase power supply well in excess of that required to run the site. The bigger issue was post completion and the power availability after full air conditioning was installed. We used chp combined heat power units which are gas engines powering generators and also using the heat to provide hot water. (Hotels). These generators would sinc to to the incoming supply and work in parallel. These were also protected by a G59 relay agreement system cutting output in the event of a daily on the incoming supply. AFC would have to do similar if they want connect a Kore type system to the grid.

Would need to clarify what’s happened to the funds held for divi as well as the stored produce. Current dept would be significantly less when stocks sold and if the divi cash used to pay down further the debt. Need to make sure LSE holders aren’t getting a raw deal.

If the production had halted due to logistics or some other reason then you could understand a fire sale price. With production continuing it shouldn’t be a give away especially with those figures

Agree with you there Panda, as long as poly can sell, cover all costs and reduce debt, why have a fire sale. Some just want a quick payout and move onto the next rainbow….

People have views on the company in various areas such as financial governance, management, comms etc and like it or not, we live in a free society where these views can be aired. Yes some may be playing a game with posts to attempt to manipulate the price but really how likely is it to shift enough sentiment to affect a company with this mcap?
What’s needed are products that not only work but also sell. Because if planet saving products don’t get into the marketplace, they won’t be saving anything!
