Russia blew it reasoning, adds pressure to the European Union to say no gas this winter, we can blow the Poland link when we like and also to create fear in the population very much like the nuclear threats.
USA well for sure they want to sell LNG to Europe but they aren’t the only ones trying to fill the gap. The Middle East and Norway will probably profit more. It could be said to weaken Russia without the sale of gas to Europe but that ship has sailed and EU has diversified and wont buy in the same manner as it did.
EU blew it? Why, the pipe was off and will be for the foreseeable future.
Who has the capability? Certainly Russia and the USA.
Why was it hit where it was, right by the new pipe to Poland? Why did it get hit the day that pipe opened?
To me its clear there is only one aggressor attacking infrastructure and other nations and its not the eu or USA…
