Jeeezzz thought today’s board was a decent debate and then .........

My reading of the farm in is

Stage 3 $25million on work on the tenement blocks( drilling) and on a PFS

Stage 4 $20million on work on the FS

Nothing in stage 4 about work on tenement blocks as there was in stage 2 and 3.

Then if the FS costs more then $20million, we pay our proportion at that time, which will be 30% ( unless NCM out in writing that they want the extra 5%)

So not sure that they will definitely buy Havieron outright ( unless an offer way more north of the prices Of 10/15p a share that all the traders seem to want)

I can see GH staying the distance in this one.
And for people saying that NCM wouldn’t want little old GGP tagging along for the ride, I would say it’s better for them to have 75% of HAV and the options of all our other tenements, than to Stitch us up allowing GH to negotiate any future farm in with Rio ( remember Clive Latcham)

Just my thoughts and like I say , I have no clue how it all plays out.

April 29th, I have a feeling, won’t tell us either. As while I have no doubt the results are going to be amazing (touch wood) I still maintain that the farm in will have to run its course until any decision is made ( which for me is much better as we will know a bit more of what’s down there)

Originally I thought to myself why don’t NCM just buy us out lock stock and barrel, however in my opinion the time was after there first bit of drilling.
I’d have thought most people, before all these stellar results came out, may have been ok with a 10/15p offer for the whole company. If I were NCM boss that’s what I’d have done( my reason being they already had a VERY good idea of what was down there)

However where we are now I just don’t see how 10p is anywhere near for the whole company (I know you didn’t say 10p originally, we know who did ). I’d be expecting close to that for Firetower and Warrentina!

So while not totally disagreeing with the company buyout ( although I don’t think/wouldn’t want it now) I just don’t agree with the price.

We don’t know what is down there ounces wise yet, although we can have a very educated guess. However if it is (IF) as big or bigger than Telfer,then I just can’t see GH and CB taking any old offer.

Again, I stress I know nothing about how it will work,and agree business is ruthless.
Just I can’t see that happening ( hopefully)

I suppose which way you look at it depicts how you feel

If people think that NCM are going to buy out GGP then the low offer is sensible to them

If however ,like me, you think that NCM will not make an offer (if any) until they have completed their farm in, then the SP will surely be closer to this pathetic 10p that is being bandied about.
So any offer after that will be higher.

I believe that this partnership between GGP and NCM still has plenty of legs to run, so I’m in the positive camp.

However I have no clue how it will all shape out, interesting to watch I suppose.
But as I’ve always said,I’m here until GH is. Then decide what to do

You don’t think Callum Baxter, putting over a decade of his time meticulously searching for the ‘big one’ would even contemplate a figure of 10p (I know your answer ;) )
For the few who have been here a while just remember his face on that interview when he thought EG was the one.
Now look at what we actually know about HAV ( not what we hope). It’s massive, we know that,we don’t know how big yet,but we will. (Thanks to paddy we see this in real time)

Firetower and Warrentina are extremely positive, BLack Hills has plenty of gold. Scallywag,well who knows but I’ve felt that this will be at least as good as Hav for a while. Then there is PRE which is promising and panorama looks good aswell. Not forgetting Earnest Giles which will hold plenty of gold but whether we find it is a mystery.

So adding 4 and a bit pence to the current SP for all of our licenses???!?!!

Don’t listen to me, I know only what I’ve researched,but everyone I’d advise not to be listening to the likes of SB ( not the Newcrest one!) make up your own mind.

At least we may lose a few posters soon as this share is only going one way for the foreseeable (usual pullbacks apply)

Wouldn’t even engage with him. Shown over time what he’s about.
But if they only offer that for GGP as a whole I’d be surprised and extremely disappointed.
SB would take it though make no bones about that
Let’s hope GH really does have shareholders interests at heart
