That would be me, as I thought may happen, when I get quotes for big amounts not far off bid then SP normally jumps, but what do I know eh?!

I’ve been doing it for a while and watching what happens, it has followed the pattern religiously on IG.
Some may not think it matters, but hasn’t let me down yet.

FWIW I was offered 9.8p to buy 10million and 8.27ish to sell 10 million

Came close enough I suppose ;)

Although I’d be happy with Spy’s £6billion buyout coming true :)

You’re right is too risky, did it a couple of times with 100k and a million then thought if I made a mistake would have to buy back.

Just interested to see what they take and when,may not interest you,however I normally find when the price they are willing to pay creeps higher so does the SP.

Stick to what NCM have been saying and also GGP then you’ll be fine. Don’t think SB is going to be pumping it (in a spivvy way), but that’s just me.

How did you find it on IG?
Do you just go to news and analysis and type Ggp in search?

Remember someone ages ago mentioning stuff comes up on IG but I’d never found it, but just played around and that’s how I did it.

Hopefully they haven’t agreed on the price yet! As Hav keeps getting bigger (well hopefully it is).
I’m in the camp of it will go the distance of the original farm in deal. After that, I have no clue but look forward to it :)

Fair point, however if they look at your profile, like I do,then they can see you’ve only posted on 2 shares. I always look at what people have commented on.
Why? Because then you can get an idea of the poster.

Lots of posts on loads of shares, then I know full well that poster is just going after the ‘next big thing’ and knows nothing about the share,just looking for a quick buck ( not saying anything wrong with that,we all here to make money).

However someone who follows a few shares, i know full well that they are ‘invested’ so to speak. Then I can look at what they are saying with a bit more confidence, and then use their knowledge to help clarify my own thoughts, whether good or bad.

Not a 100% foolproof system I’ll admit, but it’s worked well for me sorting the wheat from the chaff.

I’m still of the opinion that the Oct report will be the ‘one’ but that doesn’t mean I would scoff at your thoughts that it’s the July report that it’s going to get juicy here, I welcome it!

Just a shame that some posters have to consistently have to bring others down.
As without the likes of Paddy ( who for me has been the most selfless poster here) and the new man on the block Magictrades ( with his geological thoughts) then this board wouldn’t be what it is today.
( not forgetting others, like yourself,who have contributed ideas and ‘unofficial’ news that has come to pass)

Hopefully you may change your mind if any news comes your way, however if not then that’s fine. Just a shame to lose that insight on a personal level

On IG this morning I got a quote for 10 million sale at 8.51p
Most I’ve ever had when I try, 10 million buy was quoted 9.91p

Always check a few times a day to see what they’d take.

It’s 8.05p for 10 million now

Maybe makes no difference, but I find it interesting

So while we’ll never have any influence on any deal (if one happens) everything that’s in the public domain leads me to think that this will be very special. Don’t think I’ve ever put a number on what I think SP will be,as like you say what we hope for and what we get very rarely come to fruition in life.
However IF Havieron keeps on giving as it has done, then my simple way of looking at it is this
Biggest gold find in a generation = more than 15p

But I’ll leave the more gifted posters to use figures on how we get there,I’m just happy to be along for the ride.
