Yep been reading up the last hour or so as I thought I was wrong
Still I’ll get my old man to start buying me and my brother/sister and our kids coins as a gift.
As the way GGP is going be a shame for him to have to pay so much tax after taking the risk and after working for 50 odd years he’s adamant he wants to pay as little ‘extra’ tax as possible

So I could buy a box of 100 1oz gold Britannia’s for just under £150k and gift them to family and not have to pay any tax at all, and not have to declare it to anyone?
Or keep them and when I die they won’t be used as part of my estate thus not adding to any inheritance tax bills to my spouse/kids?

If so that’s a good way of reducing tax liabilities in the future. Not a tax avoider by any means but if the money that I’ve earned that has been taxed numerous times , can be used to buy some gold coins and sort the kids out in future then that’s something I’ll look into.

Another day closer to results

4 weeks until AGM so expect the news flow to be good now (hopefully)

I never understand the closing price

At 4.23pm I got offered 21.95p for 200k shares
At 4.29pm 21.84 for 200k shares

Probably a good thing it did go off as with a 10% drop the usual posters would have had kittens on here!

However we got hit hard as usual for something that’s not in our control. Nothing surprising, will hopefully settle down and climb again by end of week.

Surely there are other vehicles to air your grievances/conspiracy theory’s on?

So with that I listened to all the proactive interviews on YouTube with GH. One on Scallywag in October 18 is worth another listen. If you have any doubts go back and listen.
While we won’t know until official drill results come in I’m in the glass 3/4 full now on decent mineralisation ( maybe not Hav esque, but something worth more investigation )

Not too long to wait now until a lot more news flow, NCM report next week, MRE less than 7 weeks away, Scallywag results, drill update on Hav, GGP AGM and confirmation of PRE starting.

Next year looks like it’s going to be something!

Lots of subtle negativity being bandied about a Tier 1 mine next to a processing plant.
And before anyone says it’s not guaranteed, (nothing in life is guaranteed bar death), just read the Rns’s from GGP and the drill reports from NCM and relax.
This always happens when we don’t hear anything off GH for more than a few weeks.
Scallywag results will be given when they get them,remember they don’t need to be anything exceptional, if there’s mineralisation of any substance then I’ve no doubt NCM will have it, they can just pick it up on way back from HAV ;)

As for other companies being touted, good luck. Love to see people make money

If you think a near 10% drop is justified,going down more than the likes of easyjet, iag, Wetherspoons etc... that will be hit hard by the lockdown, then best to stay away from price watching for a bit.

Was always going to happen, but like most here know, insignificant if you’ve researched and are in a position to wait.

Well they better get a shift on as only about 6 weeks of GGP drilling season left until March /April time going on previous years.
That’s unless they use NCM camp facilities, then hopefully just a break for Christmas ;)

Just over 51m left at last count so be interesting to see how many have been taken up in October.

Very happy with that update yesterday after looking through it again.
One thing that I did wonder though was when we first drilled Havieron back in 2018 I’m sure we stated how many metres we planned to do? In the end we did 9(?) holes all told before the JV.

Couldn’t find anywhere in Scallywag information that we stated how many metres were planned?
Be interesting to know how many holes they’ve already done.
Excited to see the results When they get released , maybe week after next. ( USA elections Tuesday so would get overshadowed)
I know they are not meant to hold back results, but this is aim after all.
Then hopefully a ‘proper’ broker upgrade with the new information.
